I sure hope they consider him getting more time as an in game analyst. He is much better than the usual Sunday Night crew.

I like Sharp to. He really calls it like it is. He was dead on about Moss.

Its Randy Moss. Throw him the ball.

The only problem I have with either of those guys is who I dislike as a commentator more , But I will give the edge to McGuire.

I gotta agree with you. he pulled no punches. The play by play guy was not so good though.

I agree that Sharpe is better than the usual commentators but he is barely functional. He said "I like what I'm seeing out of these Oakland wide recievers" and followed it up 2 minutes later by saying they werent running their routes quick enough. I absolutely hate that woman they go to on the field, she has a deep tranny voice and I get the chills everytime she speaks.

Sterling is slightly less annoying than his brother, but I did not hear anything insightful from him at all.

Moss should have had a 250 yard 4 TD game, because he was open the entire game, but Collins kept dumping it off to Jordan. Sorry but pointing out the obvious, while mentioning that you were a complete WR several times a quarter, does not make you a great color guy.

Is he better than Theisman? Sure, but technical difficulties with lost audio wins that battle too.:D

Trieco(sp) is nothing special either.

Sharpe didn't give the poor guy a chance. He went on and on and on. Nothing wrong with that cause what he had to say was precise, informative and dead nuts on, but he's like the damn energizer bunny that guy. I thought It was a heck of a lot better commentated. Makes you realize just how comfortable the other three have become proven with their lack luster efforts.

I like Sterling..he is sound and adds much to the game..he usually does not call games of course so he would become even better with practice. However, I thought he was very good in the booth given the new context.

Sorry but I have to disagree, Sterling sounded like he just had an ebonics class, the other commentator picked up for him though and things went well.

As long as I never have to hear the stumbling, stuttering, Shannon on SNF, MNF, or a Commanders Game I will be more than happy with Sterling.

The two are like night and day.

Bad enough I gotta listen to Shannon on Sirius everyday. Grrr...

He was barely adequate. Which is better than the Cop Rock, Gigli performance we are used to seeing out of McGuire and Theisman. I have never heard someone seem so biased for a team before. He sounded like he was on Al Davis's payroll. The Randy Moss lovefest was getting very annoying as well.
