I thought the Sterling spoke his mind but at the same time contradicted himself on numerous occassions.

I sure hope they consider him getting more time as an in game analyst. He is much better than the usual Sunday Night crew.

Can't say I agree I got sick and tired of hearing Sharpe talking about how great the raiders defense was. You kidding Sharpe if that is your version of great defense you have no bussiness doing games.

I do like it overall too it was ok. He is way better than Shannon Sharpe doing highlights on CBS though LOL. But still....I Want The 3 Stooges Back!

He repeated the same thing over and over again. He would start off trying to make a point about the Raiders O and spend the whole time talking about their D.

Then he would say one thing and say exactly the opposite 2 minutes later.

Please no more Sharpe.

I agree. Give us the play by play guy, most of us don't need the commentator to tell us about what we just saw

He was barely adequate. Which is better than the Cop Rock, Gigli performance we are used to seeing out of McGuire and Theisman. I have never heard someone seem so biased for a team before. He sounded like he was on Al Davis's payroll. The Randy Moss lovefest was getting very annoying as well.

Sounds like we watched the same game. I kept wondering if he knew that the Raiders were actually losing the game.

I think he's great on NFL Network, but a lot like MCGwire and Theisman, Sharpe gets lost in his own musings instead of just reacting to what is happening in the game. The only real difference is, Sharpe muses much faster than they do.

I was thinking the same thing. Mike Tirico seems to be good at everything. Sterling Sharp was much better than the normal crew. They were certainly better than the B and C squads we have to listen to every Sunday

Well I liked his energy he brought to the game...but personally I thought he sucked as a play by play man. Of course he is just learning and getting exp at the job so maybe he will do better later.
