And is one of the best guards in the NFL.

Do we pay out to get him, and release Larry Allen?

He turns 29 in November.

Imagine

Adams - Hutchinson - Bentley - Rivera - 1st rd draft pick

Drop Rivera in year year 5, get another tackle in year 5, and that is our new offensive line.

I think that some of you think Seattle is stoopid.

So, tell us. when was the last time an OL player of this caliber -- widely regarded as the best at his position, at an age when he could reasonably give you another solid 5-7 years -- was not re-signed by his team?

oh yeah, like never ago.

It depends on who Seattle values more between Hutchinson and Alexaner. Can they afford to pay Alevander and still frachise or resign Hutchinson?

they have 17 mil under the cap, will most likely re-sign Alexander, and franchise Hutchinson, or the other way around

The difference between Hutchinson and Allen isn't enough to justify the amount we would lose paying to release Allen and sign Hutchinson. Seattle will get some compensation for him, and Hutchinson will cost more than Rivera did last year.

Hutchinson would cost too much. The Seahawks will more than likely franchise him.

Bentley should be one of Dallas main targets this offseason. I would draft Olineman in later rounds of this draft.

come on. if this were us with 2 FA's you know we'd get both done without a problem - why would you think that Seattle is any different?

Well it looks like neither one will be leaving then.

I didn't know their cap situation until SummerisFunner showed me they were 17 mil under.

Wasnt it just last year, that Alexander, Hutchinson, and Hasselbeck were either RFA's or UFA's, and they still managed to get them signed.
I could be wrong, but I remember talking that they would loose one of those players for sure last year.....

If he does not get tagged by the Seahawks, yes I would make him a very good offer.
