B.Will looks like he'll be put on IR. Octavian will replace him. I kept saying "wow who's 53!? that guy is making plays!". Much to my amazement it was Octavian. Plays with passion.

Hos may not blow his own horn on this one, but I remember him telling me way back in April that the Cowboys were very pleased with Octavien's offseason improvement...

LOL Vlad: it was driving me crazy to try and get a glimpse of #53's name on the back of his jersey............took about five plays and I finally saw it was Octavien: I was surprised I won't lie. Very pleasantly surprised: high energy level, good tackler but honestly, Spencer won't lose sleep over this guy because he is a little on the small side........but he looked great overall.


As for Young: this shouldn't be a shock: dude scored a SIX on the Wonderlic test. Or was it an eight? Either way, he's a certifiable idiot: and no, that's not a shot at UT guys. Although now that I think about it they've cranked out some beauties in recent years: Ricky Rasta Williams and Cedric Boozer Benson...........sorry, too easy........................

I was thinking about you when I saw all the Octavien praise, **.

He's small, but he does play like his hair is on fire. With Rogers getting dinged, maybe he has a chance. At the very least, he'd be a good special teamer.

And "Doc Oc" has to be one of the better nicknames ever.

Thanks! I was a big Spider Man fan as a kid, and "Dr. Otto Gunther Octavius" was my fave super villain. If the name fits, he should wear it. And it definitely does in this case.

I think he sees the playing field more than expected this season especially if Spencer continues to sputter to the QB.
