Except get drafted, earn a starting job, get paid, not get cut twice (by two different teams), and put up more than 20 points in a game, apparently.

Dak is Dak, but the Cooper Rush love is a bit over the top this week. 20 points per game is below the league average over the last several years. In other words, you're not going to 20-16 and 20-17 your way to a successful season, no matter how good it feels today. Sooner or later, you're going to need more from your QB.

I'm glad the Cowboys won Sunday, but Rush drove the bus and the defense didn't put him in bad positions. He did his job and didn't make any big mistakes. Nice to see it.
I don't think anybody thinks Rush is the next great QB, they just think he's a backup QB that produces as much as the $40 million starting QB. Rush knows where he wants to go with the ball and gets rid of it with his noodle arm, and that gets us more than we get with Dak

Offhand, I'd say Rush can read a D and Dak cannot. Don't know what other conclusion can be concluded. Rush just automatically knew where to throw.

Not so quick… thats a bit too low. I always criticize Dak for several things but overall package he is better than Rush, but just as Rush understands his limitations and plays within the system to minimize mistakes and get rid of the ball quick , thats what Dak has to do at first , once that starts flowing there will be opportunities in the game to make a long strike , scramble to get TD , etc.
How many years do we wait for this?

Coop does it in two games.

This is embarrassing considering the contract he has......

It seems Cooper is running the offense the way it's supposed to be run. Take your shots downfield to spread the defense. Dak seems to see ghosts out there and his vision is limited. Unsure of himself which causes inaccuracy on his passes. Someone on the forum said his problems are mental and i agree.... he does not look to run anymore and is more concerned with the rush and his check downs. Hampers the offense.

.. that is embarrassing. $40 million QB, getting schooled with pointers.

Can't imagine what will happen, should Rush beat NYG.
I can , Jones is NEVER benching Dak after that contract , look how he hung on to Garett and how he forces Zeke.

You know if Cooper starts and wins against the Giants then Washington the next opponent is the Rams....and Jerry will keep Dak out because he knows the Rams would destroy him and Jerry can't allow Dak to look bad....but the game after that is against Philly and that might not be a good game for Dak so look for the game against Detroit for Dak to come back so he has a soft opponent.
I don't even know how soft Detroit is this year.

I feel like Dak audibles out of the called play a lot. No? That’s why we pass more than run when he’s behind center.

Dak is 6-6 his last 12 games and is 2 years removed from a broken ankle, a year removed from a calf and shoulder injury, and is now recovering from a thumb fracture.....but you keep ignoring the obvious.
If he plays no excuses, but you don't have a leg to stand on without those excuses.
