He's ripping on Romo for lackluster play in this game, yet he managed it well and let the team to a win.

He's giving great love to Jake Delhomme, saying his receivers quit on him and he did nothing wrong. How about the fumble on their last drive.

Talk about a biased opinion.

I was going to say the same thing. I never watch ESPN after the game itself is over, so I hadn't seen his d-baggery before.

Freaking Niner.

Steve Young hates the fact that the Cowboys slapped the taste out of his mouth to reach the Super Bowl twice and needed a gift from the refs to save his *** from a 3rd one. He's a punk *** *****.

Romo was a great bus driver today.

Said this earlier in another thread...

Watch: even though Romo was very good tonight, all week we'll hear that he was "okay" or "decent", because he had 0 TDs.
Welcome to being a Cowboys fan.
Yep.

No kidding. I don't normally agree with those who complain that everyone is anti-Dallas, but sheesh who peed in his Corn Flakes?

Honestly, I believe it's Cowboy (more specifically JERRY) hatred and envy plain and simple.

I never heard a guy bash a team as bad as that when they are 2-1 and one play away from being 3-0.

The third and 19 that Romo completed when he avoided two guys in the rush, slid to the right and delivered a bullet to Crayton on the sideline (only to have it negated by a ticky tack penalty on Columbo) was top shelf.

Only a handful of guys in this league make that play.

I just don't get the Romo bashing.

Spot on -- and that's what we needed out of him.

Sometimes you need the QB to be top of the line. Other times, you need him to just know what not to do. It's the latter that has always bothered Romo -- but not tonight.

Delhomme was erratic and had three turnovers. Nothing to see there.

Romo played good and didnt turn the ball over...That's a good sign and showing progress. Keep it up tony.

Its because on the next play, he will throw an int. basicially, hes very up and down. We need romo to be consistently good. hes not there yet.

Steve Young is an idiot. My favorite Steve Young line:

"How are the Cowboys going to score enough points to win the division?"

The Cowboys have scored 86 points in 3 games. Only the Saints, Vikings, Eagles, and Ravens have scored more. :lmao2:

Steve Young is a ******bag. What a freekin lil baby. The next time he says something good about the Cowboys will be the first time.

Steve Young said that Steve Smith was "unstoppable" after the game.

Terence Newman has taken him all over the field and stopped him three times.

He took him for most of the game in 2003 and stopped him.

Tonight, Newman scored and shut him down. Steve Young had a front row seat.

Steve Smith is the best short and intermediate WR in the NFL.

Terence Newman put it all over him, again!

If the man underneath coverage doesn't hold up, the safety and CB will be chasing the WR all night.

And yet, he's been consistent enough to be #2 all-time in QB rating (behind Steve Young) and #3 all-time in yards/attempt (behind two guys who played in the '30s and '40s, Otto Graham and Sid Luckman).

Weird.

That tripped me out as well. I'm like did he forget that we scored 34 and 31 points in the first two weeks? If our coordinator didn't somebody get stupid in this game, we would have had 30 points again tonight. Young obviously didn't do his homework.

The best part:

Just after the game Young and Millen said the Cowboys took away Steve Smith with bracket coverage. Then at the end Millen starts salivating over Smith and says something like Smith is his favorite player in the NFL. Young jumps in and agrees and declares Smith 100% unstoppable. Then Stuart Scott jumps in and says: "except when you use bracket coverage right?"
