The Bears 4-deep at RB right now is Matt Forte - Jacquizz Rodgers - Ka'Deem Carey - Jeremy Langford

The Sea Chickens have Lynch, Robert Turbin, and Christine Michael.

Shonn Greene (age 29) is out there, CJ (age 29) and Steven Jackson (32) are openly auditioning for the job. We can make a move or sit around and hope that Randle is legit.

I'd hate to guess wrong on Randle if I was trying to win a championship.

Randle should not enter into the converation for a FA RB acquistion, his spot is not up for debate.Dunbar is not an all round RB and they barely use him anyway ,DMAC and his gangly body cannot stay healthy.

Dallas is in no hurray.
Some of these guys are gonna be available well into the preseason and after we get a good look at the 4-5 we have in house.

Either SJ really wants to play for the Cowboys, or he's a really big fan of Brandon Carr and his number 39.......;)

My first thought exactly was Brandon Carr. So much so that I didn't even connect this was Steven Jackson the running back haha.

Someone reasonably decent might very well turn up once the final cuts are in.
My son just suggested bringing back Walt Garrison -- (got me laughing a bit.)

If this was even 4 years ago... I would say yes...

I saw hardknocks with him with the falcons and it seemed he spent more time hanging with the trainers than his own teammates on the field

This guy always wanted to be a Cowboy. A lot of people are saying no as if he has to be the premier back. A lot of people are complaining about not having that powerback, and well he is just that.

Randle - Jackson - DMC - Dunbar

They can all play a role.

I agree. If we bring in anybody is got to be a big back. We have enough scat backs on the roster.

No need at all to make a move other than camp bodies at this point. Several RBs capable of carrying the load or splitting it very nicely with Randle will be available later. It's best to wait for a young talented RB to become available than to go after the old has beens. Believe me, we will have a new RB before week 1.
