I personally think we are going into the season with what we have and saving money for future signings (Lamb, Diggs, Parsons and Prescott) and possibly Pollard but i can see a cheaper investment being considered in next years draft. Granted our OL chemistry is still a mystery, especially at LG but i see them putting together the best 5 on the field and rolling the dice. We have youngsters who can contribute but they need seasoning. Tyron Smith at LT is playing on borrowed time but there's a built in contingency already in place with last year's #1 draft pick. I can see Tyron hanging up his cleats or being released after the season plus DLaw being released to in an effort to sign those already mentioned above.

I forsee a Kicker being signed on the cheap or them bringing back Maher.
I don;t think really that's why they are doing it. although it is part of it. those contracts can be structured much like Hurts contract with low short term impact, most of money in the future, set up to be restructured.

I think we move on from Pollard.

didn't really see any OL men, and if they are available, perhaps the team wants to wait until camp and figure out the current crop before signing one. we have done that before.

ok i’m probably going to get smacked here but how many more games would we win with matt ryan as the back up QB. someone to help Dak read the field in games and push him in practice.
I prefer Ryan over Rush. Rush brings nothing to the table. Ryan has played in a superbowl.

OG, Dalton Risner seems to me like he might be an effective solution to our problems at LG.

The question would likely be whether or not our gallant leaders, Jerry & Son pay his way. ;)
why is he still on the market. there is somethings we may not know that he is not signed yet

yes. and i see rush as a don’t rock the boat guy where matt looks like he’d get in someone ear.
I don't see Matt as that. he was not that type of player. and its not like we hadn't done that before, bringing in veterans. I do wonder if its Matt and perhaps his demands. does he still see himself as a starter and how much money does he want.

Nice low cost moves would be McKinnon at RB and Cameron Brate at TE. Let Mckeon go and keep Pollard, Mckinnon, Deuce, Jones at RB with Leupke as the FB.

I would look into Suh, and some back up QB options such as Bridgewater and Ryan.

All the worrying about RB. When there’s about 10 guys the cowboys could sign tomorrow to backup Pollard and be just fine.

JaMarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf and Tim Tebow
I never understood why Tebow never tried another position. TE , Hback. He was great athlete, tough . Seems like he could have had a longer career

I never understood why they drafted him. When they did that, I said that coach would get fired and he did.

Looking at available FAs like maximized rolodex at this point, there are some interesting plays like Myles Jack and Will Compton just for one area of reference...
Is there room for either at the moment?
