That will be the story this week by the media and haters. This 49ers game is going to be a great measuring stick. It would be a good time to shut the media and haters up for one week anyway. Let’s see if the Cowboys have closed in one the team that has eliminated them the last two post seasons. If not then they need to make some moves before the deadline. They should be all in this year.

Beating San Fran this week has no bearing on what this team will do come postseason.

Measuring stick is winning in the playoffs..... That's it. Not the Arizona game, Philly or San Fran will mean anything in the regular season
Incorrect. The entire season hangs on it.

If the Cowboys lose, they have proven they're incapable and doomed. It's the end and we'll hear it every week going forward.

If they win, the 49ers had a bad day.

Who cares what the media says or thinks? And any time you beat an NFL team you’ve done something. How old are you?

Gotta get over the opinions of the national media. Even if the cowboys beat the 9ers this week the goalpost just move to can they beat Philly? Beat Philly and its yeah but can they do it in the playoffs?

Just enjoy the season, root for the cowboys to get to the playoffs and see what happens from there.

Say it louder for the back. Every game counts. Phili hasn't lost a game. They don't want a wild card, they want home field.

The Cowboys have lost to them the last two seasons. Beating San Fran Sunday will tell the Boys they can beat them. Another loss and they will have questions in the back of their minds no matter what they say publicly.

The Niners know they can beat the Cowboys. A punch in the mouth Sunday would let them know the Cowboys can beat them, too. Downplay it if you must, but this Niners game means something. Psychologically as well as potential playoff seeding.

Oh, the regular season 100% counts and the Cowboys NEED home field.

Winning is paramount. However, it's not going to be the end of the world if the Cowboys lose that most will paint it as. It also won't be the guarantee of victory the other way around.

No. The Cowboys have everyone they need. They almost beat the Cardinals. And Dak is pissed off. They are already ‘all in”.

Neither have the Niners and Eagles. This isn't college football my guy. There are no NFL rankings that come out next month.

You are same guy who predicted this

They just gave a Hall of Fame coach the worst beating in his entire career.
