Still missing something on offense. Maybe it’s the TE or RB

Not meaning to throw shade on Pollard, but we are missing a big back with ability. Either Pollard is still not 100% or he is just a complimentary back after all. The musical chairs on the starting offensive line isn’t helping either. Lots of blown blocking assignments. Every time Dak gets sacked is a blown blocking assignment. Luepke ran into an offensive lineman pulling on his first carry.

Good play calling would make all the difference in the world.

I have no clue what we are doing sometimes in the Red Zone.

We need an impact player to put us over the top. Hope we look for a mid season trade.

We need something TE or RB. We need a 49ers type trade.
Both TE play and RB play needs to perk up especially in RZ.

Cowboys move the ball well between the 10s and then it gets interesting inside the 10. There just isn't much seperation and it just seems someone is always in Dak's face.
And we cant run down there. Oline is not playing well. Bottom line.

Healthy continuity in the OL would go a long way. Some might consider this nuts, but IMHO we have enough weapons, because most players need a certain number of snaps to find a groove—to attain a rhythm. Lamb, Gallup, Tolbert, Turpin, Ferguson, Pollard, Vaughn, Luepke, Schoonmaker, etc., etc. Not enough snaps to keep them all happy. The offense is often sporadic. Maybe they should design a certain number of “fool proof” scripted plays for the RZ.

If Dowdle is out next week e are in trouble. I don't think Deuce is that guy. Dowdle has shown some real toughness in his runs.

not to be captain obvious but we need another running back who can run in between the tackles. pollard cannot handle more then fifteen carries a game. we do not have another running back to pick up the rest. the other two guys we have so far have not done anything. should have put more effort into getting another running back.
That has nothing to do with it. Its been the oline. Pollard runs well between the tackles.

I don't agree. Cowboys can fine tune the offense to a higher level with the guys they have, but they have to be used properly. Also, we need to know how long Rico is out.

Or maybe it's a top notch offensive line.

You guys have read my complaint about this for six months. read the tea leaves. Edogo stinks on ice.

Online is getting old. This isn't 2014 anymore. Got to invest more in Oline.

We had Zeke last season and he scored a lot of touchdowns for us. The change in blocking scheme has also made things more difficult on the personnel.
Bwaaaaaa!!!!

how much worse would this offense be if it was featuring zeke?

most of zekes tds came from inside the 3. Over half were from the 1.

Its clearly the oline and the big leads and conservative play calling.

You're preaching to the choir. I have no idea why this team passed on a stud guard for Schoon.
First off, when your starting guards are Zach Martin and Tyler Smith, slim chance any guard you draft will see playing time except for injury. So, you are basically drafting a backup.

Secondly, undrafted free agent Bass has looked good at guard as a backup.

Now, if that guard you wanted to draft in the 2nd round can play center too, then it might make sense.

I think the Cowboys made the right choice drafting TE Schoon in the 2nd.
