Love that Weeden is no longer there but have not been very impressed with Cassell. Is it me or does anyone else feel he simply has trouble putting drives together and finishing them. I feel that with the amount of years hes been in the League our Offense should be much better than its performing.

I think we change the game plan from here on out.

Cassel bus driver and wreckless abandon defensive pressure.

Don't want him here next season. His pocket awareness is horrible and he panics too much. I would much rather have a young guy(drafted) come in and get early reps.

We live and die with Romo anyways, I see no reason to keep signing re-treads. Go with youth!

Cassel has been considerably worse than Weeden but there is a reason why they have training camps and OTAs so I initially wasn't too worried about it. The biggest alarm for me is that he is getting worse as the parts around him get healthier. Could have been touchdown-less two starts in a row if not for the special teams turnover. I do like that he will run and he plays with courage. My concern from game one is that he doesn't have an NFL arm any more. Nothing has changed that assessment, but Garrett keeps leading him out there like a lamb to the slaughter.

Any chance we can get a current starter to be our backup next year, there will be a lot of young players hitting free agency, and I wouldn't mind seeing Cousins or Bradford as our backup next year, heck even Drew Stanton would be an upgrade over what we have now (he wasn't horrible last year).

Not sure how you can say he has been considerably worse. At least he won a game.

What's real funny is that everyone including my self wanted Weedan gone but now I honestly believe we made a mistake. with Weedan we wouldn't have lost 7 in a row. He moved the ball a lot better than Cassell. Cassell for 3 quarters last night looked jittery and uncomfortable in the pocket.

I certainly never want to see Weeden again. Cassel isn't great but he has more confidence than Weeden did. That was a season ending game last night (as they all are now) I'm sure he felt the pressure and he hasn't felt that in a very long time. I hope the win built up his confidence even more.
It didn't help that we gave the ball away three times. Just added pressure.

our qb situation is a hot mess.

Demoting Weeden when we did was a huge mistake, almost as big a mistake as relying on him in the first place. With our without Weeden, we would be in a mess at QB.

But I'm pretty sure we would of won more then one game with him because he is more accurate in the short game and our defense has played extremely well in a few losses.

last night and the second giants games are exactly the kind he would win.

I would like a young guy here too, but to me Cassell's pocket awareness is not so bad IMO. He's actually pretty mobile out there for an older guy. Big improvement over Weeden and at least we can challenge a def somewhat. Garrett just needs to open it up more, where is Escobar, where is Lucky in the flat, where is Dmac in the flat. These guys need to be in space. We have zero imagination and right now going forward we need to be balls to the wall to have a chance.

You have to have an elite QB such as Romo to make this crappy offense even move the ball and sometimes we struggle with him, and you expect a backup to work magic with this crap??

There aren't 32 starting QB's that can do that and you expect a backup to? He's only been here a couple of months. That's what I'm looking at.

There literally aren't enough likes in all of the interweb to show how correct this statement is.

The only pass I have seen him throw consistently well is a 15 yard slant or cross which is the Cheatriots bread and butter. Otherwise you pray he never sees the field.

Cassel didn't have much time with this offense and he was thrown into a hot mess.
