I actually heard him interview quite a few times on the Fan etc while Mike was still the HC and always came away super impressed with the guy. He’s a fantastic communicator and that is what succeeds in this league now with this new generation.

Parker seems to be doing the same thing with the defense.

No matter who the HC is, a primary skill set has to include diplomacy. Dealing with an albatross like Jerry Jones is something few coaches are willing to endure.

It's not a matter of credentials, the options are exponentially diminished by this one reality.

How many noteworthy HC candidates would be willing to tolerate Jerry's interference?

Great HCs don't come to a team empty handed. They have a specific plan based on what they have seen during their ascension to the opportunity of being an NFL HC. They are looking for a chance to implement that plan.

The plan would include the style of offense and/or defense. He would need the right assistants and coordinators that understand his plan. he would need the players with the skill sets required.

Any decision made by another that contradicts his plan would be a major step backwards and delay any potential success.

Jerry Jones is the destroyer of plans and every Super Bowl winning HC he hired over the past 30 years left after their first contract.
