I made my first trip to dallas last weekend and I love it down there! The people the area is AWESOME!! Im from central New york and I hate it here! All the delusional bills, and giants fans around here make me sick to my stomach! I went to the games in buffalo and detroit(the two most exciting games of the regular season) and dallas pulled it out both times it was a great feeling and at the game sunday i thought they would do it again, but unfortunately it didnt happen. I was almost 100% sure that we were gonna smack the gmen. I still believe they got a few calls in their favor that turned out to be huge especially down the stretch, I know it sounds like im making excuses but thats how I saw it!!(my mom tivo the game for me so I saw it a few times) however we did have some stupid penalties that should have never been, and crayton played like crap oh and thanks for the drop in the endzone anthony!!! What stinks is the better team is not gonna play this weekend. I still believe that Tony is a very good QB and is gonna get better I just wish he would stay away from superstar singers. T.O has another 2 great yrs in him, MBIII is the man I get goosebumps when he jumps up from a run with so much enthusiasim.DWare is perhaps the best defensive player in the league my apologies to bob sanders, Newman is a great cover man, Witten is the best all around TE in the league, and our O-line is very good too. I dont even wanna watch the the rest of the season cause its just gonna piss me off more! I hope Jerry makes a move to get another star receiver like Williams from Detroit or Fitzgerald from Arizona. Also I think we shouldnt try and resign Julius. Resign MBIII and draft a running back in the first or second round(Draft is deep at running back) to compliment him. Next yr we take it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go BOYS:bow:

What is going to suck is watching this weekends game with GB/NY and I know I will not be able to stop thinking we should be in this game. As bad as the loss was last weekend this will be the weekend that it really hits home.

do you think it was a bad loss or a bad game. Just be honest.

Be honest. How does it feel to lose Gibbs.

You don't have to tell me about this loss. I live about an hour north of NYC and absolutely can not stand that fact that we are not playing in this game and that the G-girls are. I have been getting hammered everywhere I go, and just keep telling the G-girl fans, that how does it feel to gain only 59 yards in the second half of game and win. But of course I get well at least we are still play. That may be true, but I told them as a friend of mine sent me a text message, Enjoy the golf courses Cowboy fans, we only started a week earlier than you will. I won't watch the Gb/Ny game, but I will watch the NE/SD game. Living in NY, sux, but I have ten years till I retire and will move closer to Dallas.

Cowboy fan for life. :star:

I feel like football is over this year,I haven't watched NFL network or Espn since. I can only remember 2 times feeling worse: Jackie Smith's drop and "The Catch"

Agreed!! All of the Cowboys' NFC Championship losses have hurt me since the 1981 game against Philadelphia. It was a great ride this season (better than the underachieving 9-7 seasons w/Parcells) but there is a 'BIG' Void I've been feeling. I can only watch spurts of NFL Network and NFL Live.

I dobn't know if I will watch any of the games this weekend. My heart's not in it. I hate both the Giants and the Packers and their fans. It just ticks me off that we aren't playing the Packers in Dallas. Now I know it will end up that the Packers go to the SB and we stuck hearing all about the great Favre and the undefeated Pats/how great they are/the greatest team in football. Makes me sick. On the other hand, maybe since Brady sort of stuck up for Romo maybe I can handle them beating up the Packers and their horrible fans. I just know that if the Cowboys had played their "A" game, we'd beat the Packers and stand the best chance of any team to knock off the Pats. But it's all over for this year.

I'm cheering for the Giants, because at least if the Giants put up a good showing against Green Bay then I can tell myself that they were just hot at the right time and it was just fate. But they only scored 17 points more than their opponents all season. They were like -18 in turnover margin. They're just not a very good team, and it makes me sick we lost to such a mediocre team ... at home ... with rest ... with more health. Disgusting.

Its just sooo hard to get to the big show, many just do not realize it

It takes avoiding a major streak of injuries, it takes avoiding a hot team (ahhhem), it takes avoiding a bunch of refs in that "time of the month",
overcomeing bad scheduling, overcoming weather,

Dan Marino made it just once--his rookie yr, Peyton M just once so far

Unless a team is just freakeshily overpowering.....it takes an element of luck

In this day of FA---(Like Randy moss) it means taking a chance on a bad character.........(Pacman?) Take away Moss......Pats much more beatable

It aint just a playstation game............

dont know if i'll watch any more f-ball until next preseason again.....

It's kinda like the '79 playoff loss to the Rams, only this time I didn't cry.

I can't watch the NFC CG. It'll hurt too much. I'll be rooting for the Chargers now to win it all.

Honestly? In our 2 meetings with the Giants in the reg season, I can point out at least 2-3 plays(in both games) that could have EASILY gone the Giants' way(i.e. Toomer barely not getting his 2nd foot down in the endzone in gm1, Plax falling down on a sure long completition that Reeves picked off, a ticky tack hold on the Giants' ST blocking that negated Bradshaw's long KR return, Chris Snee's hold that negated the game tying TD, Patrick Crayton not called for false start that let us have our game sealing TD in gm1, Kevin Dockery misjudging a Romo pass that should have been picked off for 6 in gm2, etc).

If anything, I felt fortunate those plays went our way-otherwise, The Giants would have been NFCE champs, we would have played in South FL *without* TO during the bye, and the NFCDG would have been held in The Meadowlands.

Not trying to sugar coat anything, not trying to make ourselves feel better, but at the same time, what many things didn't go the Giants way those 2 times around ended up going their way in the playoffs.

*sigh* I guess there's always next year.:(

Thats nice. However, apart from the nice positive information, we still have issues. Listen, the colts lost. ALL milkeyway quarteback Peyton manning could not get his team in from the one. A few years ago, he made some silly choices against the Steelers, then blamed Vanderjoke. I want to c an identity with the cowboys. R we a run and shoot-don coryell offense? Jason and Wade and Big jer needs to make some huge choices at running back and wide recievr. The colts, patriots, jaguars, titans and eagles have an identity. whats ours.

Manning had nothing to do with that loss. Two of his picks went off his receivers' hands (in the red zone, no less), and Harrison fumbled away another one deep in SD territory.
