Still think Washington is our biggest threat?

Washington just lost to the 2-7 Vikings, and now their overall record is 3-6. Still think they're the threat? I know before this game started many people believed Washington was the favorite to win the division (other then Dallas), I'm sure that's changed now.

Here's our division standing

5-4 Cowboys @NO / @NYG / Oak / @Chi / GB / @ Was / Phi
4-5 Eagles @GB / Was / Ari / Det / @Min / Chi / @Dal
3-6 Commanders @Phi / SF / NYG / KC / @ATL / Dal / @NYG
2-6 Giants Oak / GB / Dal / @Was / @San / Sea / @Det / Was

I think it's obvious who our threat is, it's a big possibility come week 17 we're playing a playoff game against the Eagles. Hopefully it doesn't come down to that though. I think if we finish 9-7 or better then week 17 wont matter. So who do you guys believe is our biggest threat? And what do you think wins the division outright ?

Last year they cut loose just before Thanksgiving and won their last 7 games. I seriously doubt they can do that again but it's possible. But your right allot of people thought they would be sittin out front by now. It's always nice to see em loose one.

I think it's far more likely the Giants lose to both Oakland and GB than they beat both of them. And I think GB beating the Eagles is still more likely than the Eagles winning, even without Rodgers. The division is the Cowboys' to lose. If they don't beat themselves, nobody else is going to step up and take it.

Before the season started I said we would go 12-4.

I have now revised that to 10-6.

Go Cowboys!

the only threat to us winning the division this year is ourselves

that sums it up. At some point, I would like to see this team take something. Win it. Quit begging for gifts. Gifts are good, but earn it. Close the door. Put the nail in. All of the mantras....

Oh how quickly we forget.

Washington, at 3-6, is in the exact same position they were in last year before they finished on a 7 game win streak to win the division at 10-6.

Also, as bizarre as it is. The Giants are not out of the picture. They play Oakland (who got spanked by PHI last week), and then a Rodgers-less Packers team the next week while we’re on a bye.

If we lose to the Saints, and they beat those two teams, then we’re playing for a first place tie in 3 weeks.

And best fact of all, the Giants have all 3 of those games at home. Yup. 3 home games in a row. Coming off a bye week. With a lot of players getting healthy.

The Commanders also had placed badly in the division the year prior so they got a softer schedule.
They get to play KC, 49ers[both who will possibly play for a first , second seed in their respective conferences] And Atlanta at their home
who just trying to get in stride for next year]
They're done.

Giants also play the Seahawks.

There's no amazing come back stories happening this year.

Head to head, I think the Giants will be the toughest out the second time through the division. Of course, that's no great revelation since they were the toughest out the first time around too. It will probably be another shoot-out as has become customary. However, I can't see them winning more than 7 games.

The Eagles are probably the biggest threat to challenge for the division. With Rodgers out, most of their remaining games look winnable. Their main problem is they're not that good either. I agree that it will be interesting to see how they handle GB, who will be better prepared for life without AR. I'm not saying they'll be great, but they won't look as lost as they did Monday night.

Our biggest threat will be Philly. They've already faced the same teams we have and GB was their toughest opponent prior to AR's injury.

I'm not to worried about Philly and their little runt of a coach. And RGknee is not the best thing since sliced bread.

Now, Eli on the other hand, if he can close his eyes and throw up a duck for his receivers to catch on their helmet, he might be in the hunt. But I doubt it....

This Cowboy team have the division for themselves to win.

 Foles threw for 7 touchdowns last week. I don't think foles is great or anything but he certainly didn't have trouble getting into the endzone last week.

So what? One game against the Raiders. He did NOTHING against us. I tend to think that's the real Nick Foles.
