Stink (Mark Schlereth) on Cowboys

Exactly why they struggle against quick pass rushers. We can hold our own against bigger, stronger, less agile guys - but teams that bring speed off the edge or inside usually give us fits.

'They' would be Flo. Has been his weakness since birth. Always troubled by the speed guys. Columbo was pretty damn good with the speed guys. Now we have Free and he's just decent at being the lesser decent on the other side. I do have faith in Free............just not this year.

I think Stink does a great job. Kind of annoying when he on ESPN here in LA with Mason and Ireland hawking his green chille. Other than that he is usually very much on point.

Mark Schlereth.

I have no idea why, so don't ask me.

He really is a tool, but not in the way they mean it in this thread...

He's been operated on so many times, his extremeties have to be more metal than bone... :D

And of course, in the context they mean it in this thread, simply being an ex-Commander is enough to qualify you as a tool...

Before we throw too many accolades this guys way, remember he also said that we dont make the playoffs this year.

Basically Romo is a stud and the rest of the team sucks according to him. Kinda like a diamond surrounded by trash.:laugh2:

EDIT*******More like a diamond surrounded by losers!!!!!

I saw his mug on a big *** sign in the safeway I go too.

"mark schlereth's stinkin' good chili"

I felt kinda bad for the guy when I saw it. Kinda like when I watch the really bad contestants on american idol. Not that I watch american idol, cause I don't. superpunk told me about it.

Our OL has been a problem for several years now. Romo makes THEM look good, if anything. Been singing the same song for so long it's tiring. I said it at the beginning of the year. We go as the OL goes and I ain't impressed.

Well spoken. With the ides of December upon us once more, it is sad that it is so obvious and so unaddressed....again.

It's a good thing the NFC East hasn't had many speed rushers that we've had to face while Flo has been here.

;)

Agreed.

I'd do whatever it took to turn the 2010 draft picks into two quality offensive linemen for the future.

The 2009 draft strategy of 'quantity over quality' doesn't look to be paying off too well.

How we can we even judge the draft class when half of them are injured?

Whatever the various reasons, the team is getting next to zero contribution from this year's class of what? 12 draft picks?

Who's actually contributing? The kickoff specialist?

Yeah this past draft was straight garbage.

Hey but at least we drafted Roy Williams with our 1st, 3rd, and 6th round pick.

Where does all this hubris come from? Was it because the Giants stuffed the run? If so then some need to go back and take football 101. You're not going to run the ball in the face of 8 or more in the box and run blitzing the hell out of the OL.

We were at the top of the league in rushing yardage per game and yards per touch prior to the Giants game. I haven't looked since then but it had to go down. Our offense is at the top of the league in yardage although not as much in points scored. But the point is we move the ball well. The protection of our QB is at the least average for the league when you count sacks. He's getting enough time back there to complete passes.

It's not the OL's fault we don't run the power more. We just aren't a running team. And I'm ok with that as we don't score enough points right now as it is. Play to Romo's strength and let him throw the rock!

Flo is one of the better LTs in the game. He has some trouble with speed rushers and he false starts too much but other than that he's top flight. Kosier is better than average by far. He moves well in space. Gurode is one of the top centers in the league and great at run blocking. Davis is good at everything including moving in space. Colombo was way better than average and Free hasn't missed much so far.

Some of you guys don't seem to know when you have it good.

This is a pretty damn good football team and the main reasons are because it starts up front. Both the OL and the DL are top notch.
