Jackson, never did anything on his own. He never made extra yardage. He pretty much got what was there....any RB can do that.

For being the 1st Preseason Game, They looked way better then I imagined. I know there was some players that looked bad but It was nice to see Prescott take control. He did not look like a Rookie. Gotta love seeing Lucky doing his thing. I thought Morris was pretty solid. Did I actually see Street make some nice catches? I did. The wide receiver position is very interesting. I seen Nzeocha make some plays. I know he wasn't perfect but I like what I'm seeing so far. Jenkins was surprising and Olatoye makes plays. Imagine this team with everyone healthy and playing. I'm excited about this team. It's one Preseason game and I'm not trying to get crazy but I like what I saw.

I didnt record the game, but like i said earlier, I can think of at least 3 or 4 plays where an "average" back would have been swallowed up in the backfield, and he turned losses into at least positive yardage, with some nice cutbacks, not typically seen from "average" backs.....

I said it last night and I'll say it again, we dont need McFadden......Zeke,Morris,Jackson and hopefully a lil bit of Dunbar, we're set......

Yea I know that genius, Im talkin bout when he was with the scrubs....his yards per carry went down with that group because he had to do all he could just to get to the LOS and lil beyond....

But he was also running against scrubs, so shouldn't his greatness have shown how superior he is?

The same was said last year about Ben Malena and Gus Johnson. Where are they now?

I am not taking anything away from Jackson, I want him to succeed, but come on, he has a long way to go yet. Put away the anointing oil please.

What did Morris do that was so great?

Thought he was solid as well..but I didn't see anything exceptional from him

There's a middle ground on Jackson

He was good..not as good as some say..definitely not as bad as others say

Showed talent and some burst...did create a little on his own...not very shifty or flashy

This is what I saw and I would add one negative, sorry, but if was there. Once I get, but to continually bring the kickoff out and come well short of the 25 yd. line was selfish and hurt the team. The last one after LA took the lead was down around the 15, not smart.

Take out his returns on kickoff and bet you look at Jackson as going up. As a running back he looked good

Up:

Dak looked great. Much better than I ever imagined even though it was just the first preseason game.

Alfred Morris looked like he did the first few seasons in Washington. I think he'll be big plus especially in short yardage.

Darius Jackson showed some promise, but he needs to make better decisions, like trying to return the kickoff from deep in the end zone.

T Williams looked good and is said to be running better routes.

Cedric Thornton should be a good addition to the middle of the DL.

Starting OL is still one of the best if not best units.

Whitehead is explosive and can really help our return game.

Down:

Wilcox is atrocious. If he continues to be this bad and Morris/Jackson pan out at RB it'd almost make me wish we'd taken Jalen Ramsey over Zeke. I do think Wilcox will be this bad - hopefully Zeke will be so good he'll prove worth it.

Chaz Green is also horrible. Hated when we picked him last year and he hasn't done anything to make me think otherwise.

Backup OL for the most part looked bad.

Swaim has shown nothing other than he can drop the ball. Still don't know why we traded a late '16 pick to take him in the 7th in '15.

Frazier - he's only a late round rookie but I had hopes he could help the secondary. But last night he looked as bad as Wilcox and the others.

Most of DL - Not much pass rush, too many big holes to run through, missed tackles.

Not much to show for it, but I saw in Showers last night what some camp observers who've been talking about him had been saying. Too many UDFAs on the field with him, but he played with some of the same composure that Dak had.

Here's a "Down" for ya:

Coaching staff that didn't challenge that mark late in the game that forced the 4th down. Should've been a first.

I don't understand the criteria apparently.

Jackson ran for less than 4 yards per carry. Pretty much got what was there and nothing more.

Olatoye definitely should be up. Brown was ok.

Nzeocha was all over the field. Hitchens missed a couple tackles but generally was where he should be.

Wilber was completely confused.

Swaim is a downer with the drops, although he was ok with his other duties.

Andy Jones is a down.

In Swaims defense, the first pass was thrown straight out of the sun, with too much velocity, and too far in front for the angle. I put that one on Dak. No explanation of the other. Dak looked good, but that pass could have been thrown with better touch.

Swaim was horrible in the passing game. A respectable NFL TE makes the grab on both of those plays, sun or no sun, good throw or poor. They were gimmies.

Blocking, different story. He did well on a couple of occasions blocking solo.
