Witten down? Why, because the screen pass haha
No. Cause he was a huge liability in the run game. Huge.

The entire OL was as well. OL and Witten will be much better. That being said Witten had some clutch catches and I see no reason to put him in the down spotNo. Cause he was a huge liability in the run game. Huge.

Entire D? The D did enough to win.
Did ya miss the part where the O dominated the first half yet only managed three field goals?
They didn't stop anybody running up the middle! Did you miss that? Did you miss where they faded in the fourth once again? Did you miss where they gave up long pass after long pass? If the TOP wasn't what it was, this would've been a blow out, did you miss that?
Frustrating and disappointing night. Good night, CowboysZone.
fair enoughI'll give Carr an up.. Made a play.. Never stood out as a weakness..
The defense was an embarrassment today... They can Hyde behind points allowed but this is why we watch the game and not the numbers. That defense fails the eyeball test miserably.
Garrett had a great great gameStock Up: Bailey, Dak, Fred beard
Stock Down: Front 7, Marinelli
Stock Waaaaaaay Down: Garrett time management (passing with lead in 4th, going 3 and out/getting players prepared situations like no timeouts (Dunbar & TWill), Linehan play calling, FO and Garrett thinking D was good enough (cost of Mayowa/Thornton/Jack should have been enough to buy ONE very good player PLUS Collins, Hitchens and Thornton were trash against the run)

Thorton played?
The indictment on Dez is reduced to him having to make GREAT catches.....point that to the OC and JG.He was pretty awful at run blocking.
Beasley played very well today. He was all over the place. A few frustrating times when he could've gotten the first but tried to get cute. Dak overthrew him a bunch. He is short.
Witten played well too. He does what Witten does. Gets first downs. Was one of Dak's most consistent targets.
Dez just kept trying to go long and beat his man for the TD with a jump ball. Dak's passes weren't perfect, but Dez needs to adds some facets to his game and stop relying solely on the jump ball.
Elliott was confusing. Looked pretty awful. I caught a few very impressive blitz pickups, but overall his running was terrible. I would say it's because the defense wasn't afraid of Dak's arm, but then why did Morris consistently run well?
O-line was frustrating. Too many false starts and holdings. I think everyone on the line committed at least one penalty. Hard to tell if the run blocking was awful or if it was Elliott. Pass blocking was okay.
Dak started off hot but then did nothing. Finished with a mediocre completion percentage after completing everything early on. None of his deep balls were connecting. Most of his passes were short to Beasley and Witten. Didn't cause any turnovers but started throwing a lot of sloppy passes later in the game that could've been picked off.
Defense looked pretty bad. They were getting destroyed with the deep pass like they've been for years. Didn't see much difference between Jones and when we used to have Wilcox back there. Claiborne made some plays. Carr got a gift INT. Kept seeing McClain in on plays. Not much from T. Craw or the DEs. Only LB I saw in on plays was Lee. Defense gave up long, fast scoring drives in the 1st half despite being out-clocked 5 to 1. Then they got destroyed by the run later in the game to wind down the clock and blow any chance of coming back.
Overall, pretty typical performance by a pretty typical team. Didn't really see much change between today and previous years. I guess Elliott had one of the worst performances I've seen from one of our RBs in a long time. Other than that, business as usual.
