My GOATS are the WR corp. Dropping passes, not getting out of bounds, not great helping out the QB.

What has Derek Dooley added to this team? The way I see it we have a bunch of WRs underperforming. Dooley should be let go.

The defense did not play well. The offense probably should have won, maybe, but this defense killed them in the second half.

Teams see no sense in running off tackle or wider to Lee's side--he just slashes the play dead. Best bet is at theD,, to let the supposed strength of our Dline take their initial up field rush and then push them in the direction their momentum is going.........then come with the delayed handoff and hit the open gaps into a hole that is supposed to be filled by someone not named Rolando McClain now.
****
Offensivlly you just don't throw long that many times into a Giants 2 deep zone. We needed to scheme to get into their LB's, but with Witten and was slower on Slowing down---so no deep balls up the hash marks. Escobar sighting at all? Swaim had the one bigger gain. Why Garret Let the Giants pin Dez against the sidelines all day--I'll never know. Even so the TD was a ball that usually is his. Daks' gotta get the ball down---either a pik.....or he is going to hand Bease out to dry on a hightlight vid for some db. Bease was hurt--arm hanging-status? Few if any Zone stretch run plays for Zeke?

Coaching....down. Way down.

It's never gave us any kind of edge. It's some Cleveland Brown BS.

I mean.. Marinelli is the only coach to ever go 0-16.

I don't believe in their style of football.. There is parts of it I like but a lot of it is garbage.

I'm tired of being Detroit Lion south with Linehan and Marinelli.

Stock Up

Prescott - he handled all of the pressure on a rookie quarterback in his first start much better than I could have hoped for.

Morris - the team's best running back right now. Understands the scheme and his keys and gets what's blocked. He should get more carries, but keeping up appearances will prevent it.

Tyron Smith - quietly handled the player who gave him fits last year. But that neck issue is worrisome.

Morris Claiborne - his preseason play is carrying over into the regular season. Amazing what a little training and self-confidence can do.

Terrell McClain - so far, so good. One game down and he's still healthy. He showed how he's kept Thornton off the field to this point.

Sean Lee - again, so far, so good for health. He was all over the place.

Dan Bailey - what a weapon. Best in the game right now.

Stock Down

Dez Bryant - he was handled far too easily by average cornerbacks. And in his one big chance to shine, he came up short. In his defense, his coaches do him no favors with scheme and play calling. You know where he is, what he's running, and where he'll be far too often.

Jason Witten - can anybody on this team finally realize what he is and what he isn't? He is a decent, straight down the field pass receiver who will you get you nothing more than the spot where he makes the catch. Stop using him in any type of play that goes laterally. It's a waste of time and an advantage to the defense.

Doug Free - once again exposed as the weakest link on this line. JPP with one arm repeatedly stole his lunch money. And that stance? He may as well stand on one foot for as close as he keeps his feet together. He gives defenders the advantage right from the start. How they ever let him keep that initial set-up stance is beyond me.

Tyron Crawford - remind everyone again what it is that you're being (grossly over)paid for?

Jack Crawford - although I can't blame him for being the player that he is, I can blame anyone and everyone who thought he'd be acceptable at defensive end. Each and every thing that was said about this team's defensive end position was proven true.

Anthony Hitchens - he's not the answer for this team at middle linebacker, but just a guy they had on the roster when McCalin decided to quit life yet again. We'll all soon be clamoring for anyone and everyone to replace him. Get healthy Nzeocha!

Stock down like a mutha
  • Can't believe everyone is giving Scandrick a free pass. He was getting abused.
  • Free- got abused by 3 finger JPP
  • Interior o line in the run game the Giants d line stopped us all day
  • Hitchens - got benched in the second half To small to play MLB he looked tiny out there and tackled tiny Need linebackers to bring the wood, but we don't have those types
  • Twill - used to be ok with him, but after reading his post game comments nah I'll pass.
  • Zeke - his stock will rise, but for this game Morris was better
