Bill Belichick was responsible for most of those defenses it wasn't all Tom Brady so why don't you take that ridiculous assessment and stick it where the sun don't shine and most coaches after losing a perennial goat at quarterback it's gonna need some time to adjust but apparently two seasons or three seasons or whatever it's been wasn't enough but I can promise you there's enough talent on this team especially at quarterback and I don't care what you say he's better than anything they have our wide receiver and tight end is better than anything they have all we need to do is figure out a better run game a better defense so yeah Bill Belichick could be the guy with this small window to turn the defense which was the bigger problem yesterday because if you argue with me then I'm gonna know you really weren't watching yes the offense struggled yes Prescott struggled in the first half but there were flashes and there were signs that they were gonna dig their way back into the game only for the defense to give up 21 straight points in the second-half so even if you want to give 10 points to the defense because of the pick six and the other interception which by the way the first interception Brandon cooks was harassed bullied and ran through had his shoulder pulled back for that guy to intercept that ball that is not on Prescott yes it was an interception I get it it sucked we didn't play really well on offense however the defect was 10 times worse they gave up 38 points and it didn't showed no signs of stopping the Green Bay offense enough times for the offense to come back..

But this team is still full of talent with some adjustments bringing in a handful of other players a better scheme a guy like Belichick can take a veteran team like this and maybe get him over the hump we're not talking about A5 win team here I don't know what you've been watching but I know people are so upset they can't see straight trust me I'm very irritated and mad I didn't think I was gonna post for three days but when the smoke clears the Cowboys are still talented we're being held back by game plans and in game adjustments situational game management and all we need is somebody to help take this team to be the new general the new voice and put it over the top..

That doesn't mean it has to be Bill Belichick but I think Bill Belichick can be that guy he's more of a defensive guy there's already an offense here that's sort of put together you could draft a running back a few little adjustments here and there with some exchanges of players the offense is already pretty much ready if they could take this defense to a real championship level not one that in every big game can't stop the run and seems to get gashed a lot if they could fix that that is our playoff issues we don't have a strong run game we don't have a plan to eat clock and play better d..

I agree I don't think bill belichick's specialty is to rebuild an offense though if he can get the right offensive coordinator with this talent we have on offense he's more of a defensive guy and right now in my opinion we got bigger problems on defense I think a guy like Bill Belichick or even Harbaugh who understands that a strong run game playing the run well and playing defense to match what your other team might be bringing as far as preparing a game plan I don't think Dan Quinn's been doing that lately he's saying I'm gonna run my style of defense and if we get a bunch of turnovers we're gonna win if we don't we're probably gonna lose....

So we need a defensive minded coach that can hire a really good offensive coordinator we already have the talent in my opinion on offense not much needs to change maybe draft a top running back tweak all the few things but it really is a new defensive philosophy is what we need.. But that's my opinion but the guy like Harbaugh or Belichick those are the type of guys you'd want to get a team like this over the hump...

Yeah but we're not that far away on personnel a different defensive scheme you would need a couple linebackers I don't think we're far away if a different scheme was being used right now this scheme was built to get turnovers if you don't get turnovers they get walked down the field pretty easily.. Way too reliant on making big plays in order to make stops they need to be able to make stops in a traditional manner you know tackle well stop the run play better coverage but I think we have the pieces I just think that against the better teams they figured out how to beat Dan Quinn which by the way wasn't it bill belichick's team that came back in the second-half one of the biggest deficits overcome to beat Dan Quinn's Atlanta Falcons Dan Quinn does this very often his defenses can get walk down the field in a hurry when it's not getting turnovers when they are not applying the right amount of pressure and getting turnovers they don't stop people consistently.... A guy like Harbaugh and Belichick appreciate that type of defense and I think we need to get back to that.. And I believe they'll be smart enough to hire someone not to mess the offense up too much we have a lot of talent on offense...

I don't like Bill's style, his taste in QBs or his talent assessment. I had this take during his dynasty run. Other than a few players most of his guys were JAGs.

But in all those runs, Bill never wet the bed on clock management or obvious game management. He and Brady were on the same page like Montana/Walsh. The point being that we have a unique situation where we need a guy who will instill discipline OVER culture and demand excellence from everyone on the roster. He won't make obviously dumb choices. He may rid us of Dak. He will make Micah shut up. So, in a perfect world, we get a young coach. La Fleur has outcoached Mike McCarthy EVERY YEAR SINCE THEY FIRED HIM IN GREENBAY...and somehow Jerry thought this reactive doofus was going to cut in Big D? No...we need a guy who is unphased by bright lights who Jerry is comfortable with. The only choice is Bill.

You get the point. BB is an incredible coach that game planned around what they had. Brady even says this. Their issue was talent and his GM ability the last 4 yrs. He’s still a top coach. Stop with the other narrative

Belichick's time as the Giants DC needs no introduction. Then he built a #1 scoring defense in Cleveland. Then he built a #1 scoring defense in New England in '03. And he had a #1 scoring defense in NE as recently as 2019. Bill could get into the Hall of Fame as a defensive coordinator alone.

Now offensively, he's much shakier... his WR track record is legendary for the wrong reasons. But the man knows defense, and he was shutting down record-breaking offenses and winning Super Bowls while Tom Brady was still in grade school.
