I will say this and be done with it maybe some of these contract discussions were in the making prior to injury but who doesnt know it takes at least a year sometimes more to recover from ACL's. Maybe someone should question where Jerry is getting meical advice though. He signed Jaylon Smith and we waited year but he was never even close to what he was preinjury. LVE and his neck dates back to college, Harper or clark has a injury history.

Jerry like to take chances on people hoping he can strike gold and I just dont see him doing it succcesfully. Randy gregory,Greg hardy them are just a few that come to mind Im sure there is more.

Steele had back to back really good years and that’s why he was signed. It’s not about liking him but about a young player improving each year and earning a contract. We could have paid another player and he could have got hurt too

Big contracts are a gamble. Never know what is going to happen after the ink is dries. The only issue I have is committing top draft picks on project players!!

I'm not Jerry, I'm not an ignorant fan either. Not all players can be all pros...every team has players that don't live up to their contracts....some fans just have a disregard for the facts and spew ignorant comments.

Plus these guys didn't sign all pro deals either. Steele signed a new deal that made him the 20th paid T in AAV. A guy they expect to be an all pro or close to it is resetting the market on a new deal.
