People need to slam the brakes on the talk of Dak Prescott being a starter. The development path and timelines for Dak are obvious. In case you can’t see it, it looks like this:

August 25, 2016 – Dak has third straight dominant preseason game

August 26, 2016 – Hillary and Trump drop out so Dak can be President

Jan 20, 2017 – Dak takes office, imprisons Roger Goodell and Dean Blandino

Feb 1, 2019 – Tony Romo retires

Feb 2, 2019 – Dak resigns from Presidency, names successor of Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones

2019 – 2035 – Sixteen consecutive Super Bowl Wins

Feb 1, 2036 – Dak retires, assumes position as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court

I've got to be honest...that would all be awesome.

Romo had his shot. Time for new blood.

Lol I haven't seen more than one misguided individual (on this thread) that actually believes Romo should be benched. Im sure they are out there though...

How many rookie QBs have won a Super Bowl? 0

There is a good reason for this. It would be different if we had someone like Matt Flynn as starter, but we don't. We have Tony freakin' Romo and he's still one hell of a player. IF we started Dak, there will be so many points in the season you'd wish you had a veteran QB at the position. Romo, at this point, is so far and away better than Prescott, him being the starter shouldn't be a discussion until Romo shows he can't play at a high level anymore.
