Stop using Zeke as excuse

Zeke is a great but he’s not the best player on the team. That honor belongs to Dak, and its not even close. The best player on the team stays in shape no matter what and plays hard regardless of the situation.

Agreed.

Let's put it another way. Which group would more than likely win more games:

Dak + McFadden/Morris

or

Moore + Elliott

It's an obvious choice.

A lot of people have said Zeke looks slower this year. During one game the announcers, who have access to the team during the week said a lot of the people in the Cowboys thought the case was affecting Zeke on the field. I'm always interested in what Jimmy has to say about the Cowboys. Sunday on Fox pregame he said Zeke does look sluggish this year and that ripples through the team including exposing the defense to more snaps.

I agree that Zeke did appear a step slower and didn't have the swagger he had last season. He certainly is human and thus is being effected by the courts.

But, he also isn't, by his own admission, a serious workout type of guy. In the NFL, that wont work. He has to get his head right and his body in shape or his career will take a nose dive.
