good god guys, you sound like a bunch of school girls. Yeah, it hurts like hell to watch these arseclowns win their sixth, but to say it was "fixed". It cuts both ways: I'll never forget for as long as I live the conspiracy theories when we were winning SB's in the 90's:

1) Irvin "pushed off" every time and cheated mercilessly....

2) our OLine was guilty of holding every play

3) our defense was "dirty" and broke every rule they could get away with

I and LOTS of you guys use to laugh at the losers that would whine about how much our team cheated and how "lucky" they were. My God, I live in Michigan and had to listen for YEARS to these mental midgets say that "Barry Sanders was a far superior back to Emmitt due to the Offensive lines" The bottom line: man up, it's over and it ended just like we feared but all knew deep down that it would. Blaming it on the refs is just he lament of a LOSER. Rant over. :bang2:

Well said... Bottom line the best team won the Superbowl so suck it up homers and worry about the draft :laugh2:

You would have point if it was was just Cowboy fans. You can see analysts questioning calls that Stealers got. But you are right in a way though. some of the the whining is goign bit overboard. Questioning every TD, is just bit much. I only had problem with that one drive, which I thought was Blatant.

At the end, Stealers did win the game, fair and square in 4th quarter, without any help.

They actual called Irvin for pass interference in SB XXX in the first half. Had to settle for a FG.

why? there are some serious discrepancies with consistency here.

The excessive celebration not being called is flat out wrong. The league emphasizes this rule constantly and at the most important moment they forget about it?

It's not whining when you have the right to criticize them. People say r****** doesn't matter, but it does, especially in a league of parity when games are close. The refs shouldn't get off so easily, otherwise people have a right to doubt the NFL's credibility.

Is r****** now a censored word?

Wow.

Lame.

R-E-F-F-I-N-G

See if that beats the censors....

Edit: Yes, it does.

Wonder how long before I get warned for circumventing the language filter.

If this was the Tennesee Titans it would still be wrong but people might be willing to say just a stupid blown call...but it being the stealers who have benefitted from "blown/phantom" calls in each and everyone of there SB seasons in crucial moments... well it might warrant a bit closer examination

LOL and not far from the truth

It's not whining when it's validated. Stop trying to make yourself look like the better person, it's annoying.

Other then the one drive where Pittsburgh got a FG in the third quarter the officiating was pretty good.

One thing I dont understand is why Warner's fumble wasnt reviewed. It was close enough where they should of taken a look at it. With the personal foul call they would of been on about the 25 or 30 with 15 seconds left.

Too important not to take a second look.

Wouldn't the personal foul have been negated since the play wouldn't have happened?

I would love some examples of that. There is holding on like 90% of plays in the NFL...every team is guilty.

Great teams are always accused of getting the benefit of the calls.

It was said of the 70s Steelers, the 80s 49ers, the 90s Cowboys, the 00s Patriots and now the 09 Steelers.

The Cards could have won the game without the questionable calls. No game comes down to one bad call. A loss is a combination of not coverting first downs, TDs and negative/unfavorable plays as well as questionable calls.

The Steelers won. The Cardinals loss.

Pittsburgh still carries the trophy home.

Don't like it. Beat them next year.

If that's the case, then why would he need to give you examples. 90 percent of the plays would mean that the Cowboys would be among those holding, right?
