If you want to use statistics, and a little bit of clever math to start calculating who's a better pass rusher, it only irkked me to have to do this... but I was curious.

Until around the last seven weeks of the season, Mario Williams hardly made any impact on the league. He had 4 sacks and averaged 2.3 tackles through 9 games. In the last seven he exploded for 11 and his tackles shot up to 5.1.

Either something seriously clicked inside his head during the bye-week after several years of bust level of play, or something smells fishy.

I like Williams and always thought he would be good, but I thought it was questionable to take him first overall. He was just to raw at the time and when you draft someone that high, you should fully expect returns immediately.

Several years of bust level play? Wow. The guy was in all of his second year yet you've labled him a several year bust.

Clearly I'll take your knowledge of how good, or how bad, Williams is with a grain of salt.

Jared Allen won't reach 10 sacks next year and you can book it... The best pass rushers in the game are Ware, Merriman and Freeney.

Let's see Williams do it again next year then I'll be ready to put him in their category.

Is he getting suspended for 8 games or hurt? The dude just got 15+ last year with little, to no, defensive line help in KC. With the Vikings he has two of the better DTs to take pressure, and of course lineman, off of him.

The dude is going to have it even easier, in regards to getting sacks, this year than he had last year.

i think their dts total weight is near 630...its freighting how big pat and kevin williams are... so between kevin, pat and allen one of those 3 has to be double teamed or they can focus on those 3 and some no name is going to have a break out season
