Street, Wilcoxs, Hardy and McClain all need to be gone by next year

It is much easier to blame the talent because there is "hope" that it can be changed. In other words, it is a cop out.

It's the same nonsense every year for the Red-Headed One, as if he's being held back from greatness by a few pieces. When TO was here, the first excuse was needing a second receiver.. We are still trying to replace the second receiver, because apparently TWill can't get open nowadays..

Besides this fact, this defense was utter trash when Hardy was suspended.. Straight garbage... Anybody that says he's a distraction in the midst of this red-Headed clown's schemes and philosophy is a homer...

Huge issue. Hayden stinks. Marinelli needs his head examined if he keeps thinking Hayden is a worthy starter in this league. Watching him get shoved around yesterday by GB was embarrassing.

Crawford? I don't know what to think. He's been a big disappointment too but I wonder if he had a competent DT next to him, he'd be better. But he was clearly overpaid this offseason.

They need to invest, at a minimum in a real 1 tech with talent. Either draft a kid or make a smart free agent signing.

We need at-least one bonafide safety. A better scheme on offense and defense. A hard nose coach to get these players to play, enough getting by. Enough slacking.

i put all of hardys hype down and i like to keep it there and just look at his play. to date, not worth the $. i don't care about fans whining - every year they find SOMETHING to get mad about. at least this is an easy target. but what i do care about is how he helps the team and given everything, i don't see it from hardy. not gonna cut anyone at this point, let's see if he can do some growing up too and is willing to "earn" the opportunity.

mcclain has been not too bad. are we overpaying him? people stuck on the past? dunno. i see no glaring need to cut someone because you don't like them only to put a huge gap in your players overall talent. who we gonna put back in there better?

wilcox - ditto. he's not as bad as people like to make him out to be.

this year it's hard to single out players for being bad when as a team we've just sucked.

Take off the Rose colored glasses. Hardy wasn't near worth the money he was paid for the year and he will want more next year. Hitches could easily replace McClain. McClain is unreliable and mentally unstable.

I agree with your assessment about DT. That's why we can't afford to pay Hardy. We use thet money to upgrade the DT position and maybe safety. The money Hardy is going to want is not worth the production he is providing.

It's far more realistic to replace Hayden then it is the whole defense. You fix his position and all of a sudden your defense looks a lot better on the line.

He's outrushed and outplayed the guy that is stealing $8M from Philly - and doing this for a round $1.5M? He's a steal right now and you could still draft a RB if they choose to do so. Don't understand why he needs to be gone...............

For a zone blocking scheme Randle is better then McFadden. They want to be a zone blocking team. McFadden sucks in zone blocking because he doesn't cut well. McFadden is having some success with us because we have a line that's big enough and athletic enough to run both Zone and Man.

I think they need to decide if they want to be a zone team or a man team and pick players accordingly. If Zone then Turbin makes sense and draft an RB1. If Man then McFadden makes sense and draft an RB1.

I don't think they thought Randle was better. I think they thought Randle would be more durable. They worked McFadden in slow. He's gotten better as the season has gone on.

McClain is hit and miss and is not consistent mentally or phyically. The easy touchdown from Starks was all on McClain. Next year he will be another year older and slower. You ask who would replace him? Hutchens.

Wilcox's was horrible on defense and had been for some time. He's never in position and cant tackle. On put return he was horrible every single punt he got beat by Janis and got Lucky blasted every punt. Good day.

all good man - rough day after a rough week last week and just need some holiday time.

mcclain i still think can get the job done. it's hard for me to get so mad at a player when collectively we suck. if we had a solid defense and these were glaring holes, that's one thing. but we don't. we have...this. and this sucks.
