After the trade for Pickens, the wide receiver position projects as a strength of the offense.
Offensive strengths
WR: Lamb and Pickens have the potential to be one of the top duos in the league. Turpin adds some burst and quickness to the third-receiver role, and while neither Tolbert or Mingo had shown reason to believe they could be a No. 2, they may also be good No. 3 options. When the debate is who will win the No. 3 job, you have to feel pretty good about the position.
IOL: I don't want to include the tackles in this because they are iffy, but the interior offensive line could be one of the best in football. Of course, when two of the three starters are first-round picks, it should be one of the best in football. Smith-Beebe-Booker could form a formidable wall in the passing game that allows Prescott to step up into the pocket on his throws and could open up the inside running game with their physicality.
Defensive strengths
Pass rush: With Micah Parsons, the pass rush was going to be one of the strengths of his team. Adding Dante Fowler coming off a 10-sack season was set to add to it, but then we also added one of the top pass-rush DEs in the draft. On top of that, Odighizuwa gets quite a bit of pressure even if he's not as dominant as you'd like and Thomas is more of a pass rusher than run defender. It will be interesting to see if Sam Williams has anything to add to that coming off his injury and if Kneeland is able to develop his pass rush.
Cornerbacks: This one is iffy because of the injuries and the loss of Jourdan, but landing Shavon Revel gives this group a chance to be really good, especially if Diggs can make it back at some point. Even though Elam wore out his welcome in Buffalo, he may be a good fit on the outside for the coverage scheme Eberflus likes to use the most. If Revel is not able to go at the start of the year and Diggs doesn't come back till late, the unit may take some lumps before settling in as the year progresses.

This unit is our best from top to bottom. We have one of the top kickers in the league (perhaps the very best), one of the top punt returners in the league (perhaps the very best) and a punter who is at least near the top. The long snapper has been a decent find as well. Thank you, Bones. You weren't the best when it came to decisions to take risks, but you have an eye for special teams talent.
