This time of the year we like to talk about our weaknesses, rightfully so. As this is the time to make cuts, and build your team. With that said, let's focus on the positive for a second.

What are some strong points about this team? Is there one thing about this team that stands out going into the off season.

Any places we excelled? Is there a certain position on this team that you can say hey, we're good here.

How's the leadership on this team FROM THE PLAYERS, give your thoughts

The leadership in the locker room seems to be in a transitional phase.

When you have a second year player saying the things Parsons' has been saying it clearly indicates a void in the leadership department that he is trying to fill.

Having an ineffectual, yes man type, pseudo leader is worse than having no leader.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Defense this year. Safeties and Pass rush were great. Dan Quinn is an asset and I was hoping he would be our head coach but Jerry isn't a bold front office guy so we are stuck with Big Mike.
Offensive line was great after Smith went down.
I would extend Martin, try to lower Tyron's cap number as I think he is still an asset . If no agreement can be reached cut him post June1

Of course save 11 million by cutting Zeke post June1. I would actually tell him to clean out his locker right now.
Don't overpay for Pollard, I would actually say just let someone else break the bank.

There are 10 FA running backs who could be had.
Hunt, Damien Harris, Moestert, Jamal Williams, Penny, Wilson. Breida... just to name a few off the top of my head.

I am concerned about WR's. There are very few free agents of note.

This post is too sensible. How is anyone supposed to start a fight with you?

It also helps that the person trying to take the leader role (Parsons) is actually good at his job.

Nobody cares what you say when you don't have the ability to back it up.

Strong points heh?

Well, theoretically MM has made it his coaching staff and will directly control the Offense. So, at least it's one voice.

Hard to say from a roster standpoint. The only place I would really say we were strong was our safeties (what a change, right?) but that could easily change depending on who we lose.

Punter is solid.

Every other position group needs improving or could go from OK to complete question mark (RB's).

The franchise value/brand. After that, are there really many strengths?

Lol.. Let me add I never wanted to pay Dak, as I never thought he was elite. I think he is a good QB so I am not all negative on him, but it's funny how guys like Dak & Cousins,Jimmy G only make a few million less than Mahomes type player. There is no clear salary levels with QBs.
Of course the Wilson & Murray contract look atrocious right now.

Having said all that, I would not want to extend Dak. I would actually draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round. Always look to develop the next guy.

That should spew a lot of responses. :)

My thoughts....you think too much....thus forum used to be great, positive etc....it'd become negativity and questioning...

To answer your question...I feel we have many strengths...we need a couple of more weapons on offense, we need to restructure Zeke...letting him go with the dead money is stupid...at the end of the day, we won 12 games..two years in a row. Anyone that doesn't appreciate that probably never strapped on a helmet.

It is similar to what you see in the NBA. It is such a star driven league. If you have a Lebron in his prime you are golden. If not you get stuck with Russell Westbrook but you have to pay him the same thing. It hardly seems fair to the Lebrons or the Mahomes of the world.

I only feel good about:

Micah
Martin
Biadasz
Steele
Tyler Smith
Lamb
Diggs
Our safeties
Pollard, if he returns

We definitely could use some upgrades!

Our pass defense/pass rush and offensive line are the strengths of this team. We still need to get a run stuffing DT and a CB to replace Brown. Need to find a WR and RB in the draft to compliment Lamb and replace Pollard and Zeke.
