I was tired of this election about 8 months ago.

OK, this annoys me greatly.

Sports announcers who consistently mispronounce athletes' names.

I realize there are more foreign players now in most sports, but that's no excuse. If you are a baseball announcer, you need to learn how to pronounce Hispanic surnames correctly.

I hear these baseball announcers butcher names like Gutierrez and Jimenez all the time. That's like a sports writer consistently misspelling a name. Same thing. It's your job to get it right.

Last night, I heard Craig Sager from TNT over and over again refer to Manu Ginobili as "Mano." If you get it wrong once, then I understand, but he basically renamed him last night.

OK, I feel better now.
