Good lord, just make him a June first cut, save $10 million against the cap, and move on already.

I love Zeke. He carried my alma mater to a national championship but he's not that guy anymore.

THIS IS FALSE. You said this in another thread and it was pointed out to you that the Cowboys only owe him base salary now going forward and if they cut him in the next few weeks they owe him nothing.
This is not correct unless you are not counting prorated bonuses. He's been paid those, but the cap hit still remains, which is why he'll cost $11.9 million even if we cut him. His base salary of $10.9 is not guaranteed, but capwise, he has nearly $6 million in guarantees this year, just over $4 million next year and nearly $2 million in 2025 (thus the $11.9 million hit).

The main reason the Cowboys want him to take a pay cut is because of that dead money.

Any player who does not maximize their earning is an idiot. Most guys get ONE shot at a big deal and playing nice is bad business for them.

I can never believe how fans get angry at players for demanding contracts from billionaire owners.
Oh come on. Even league minimum makes a person wealthy far beyond the vast majority of everyday citizens. These guys are not getting ripped off at all. And don't give me the danger of the job nonsense. People work far more dangerous jobs for ordinary pay.

I think the NFLPA would disagree.

But it’s ok to pay Pollard…who can’t even play football right now.
