Sturm

The Bengals did their homework and the Cowboys used it against them. That is why you can have great faith in Scott Linehan and his offense. They are now winning before the game even starts with the way this offense is being coordinated.

Agreed...

Funny how that works, isn't it?

Well.. when you stop with the stale ignorance then people really can't complain about it.

The Callahan factor departure was never a factor for me. It was the stale ignorance of playing into the defenses hands.

Leary block 3 guys on the first play.

Coaches deserve slot of credit. Brilliant game plan. With Romo in we can't do a lot of this.

I'm one of the biggest Romo guys around. I'm just not sure his time may have sadly passed. Dak makes very few mistakes and is mobile. Perfect for a bruising team.

I have no doubt Romo can still play at a high level..

I imagine he is going to look a little rusty though when he gets back. This

Exactly..

Don't let these teams cheat against us without making them pay.

This is what i call coaching 'em up. Love it.

All that's missing is scheming up a few deep shots, presumably to Butler, who can really run and likely wont draw double coverage.

What I love is the Cowboys use the first misdirection to get the Bengals moving in the wrong direction. Once the Bengals have committed to that direction, the oline begins their block in that same direction away from the running play. Get them to commit, then block them in the direction of their momentum. Once they're already moving in the wrong direction, it's easy for the oline to continue pushing them the wrong way. We ran alot of that in 2014. And it takes time for the blocks to develop. Defenses will wise up to it and we will need to start mixing it up with the quick blasts to catch the dline expecting a zone block to develop.

We haven't hit the big shot downfield but at the same time it's nice getting first down after first down and keeping the defense off the field.

Beautiful.

Is this how Seattle likes to run their offense with Russel Wislon? Mis direction and deception? Isn't this what makes Seattle's offense go? I recall a number of folks on the zone talk about how this was a gimmick offense and NFL defenses will wise up to it?

Whats the difference in the way we run it with Dak?

33.3% of his targets were 10+ yards down field. That's above the league average, and ahead of guys like Ryan, Wilson, Manning, Rivers, Luck, Brady, Brees, and of course Wentz.

In all honesty and sincerity, I have to say that Zack Martin is the best guard in football. The dude moves folks anyway he wants, and he's almost always getting to the second level to seal someone.

His technique is superb and he's a smart guy. He isn't going to run over big DTs, but he is as technically sound as any lineman in football.

Amazing. And this is pretty much my take. I dont see how Romo or someone else is going to be running the offense better than what it is running. No picks and its like a well oiled machine. I can understand a bit of the no bomb part, but its not hurting this team. And all Prescott has to do is throw a couple of bombs and that notion is also down the tubes. Its not like Romo ran a big bomb offense.
