There's one guy to beat over there while the other corners are gone in coverage, Tyron had the one guy there that was there to clean up.Even without the missed assignment, I don't see how that becomes a big play.
Everyone else was marked.Even without the missed assignment, I don't see how that becomes a big play.
It's always that ONE GUY, isn't it???!Yep, good audible except one guy didn't know it.

Leary doesn't have to get out in front. Just keep carrying the guy that made the tackle toward the boundary. Zeke would cut it up behind him and Frederick. Lots of green grass in front of him.So 65 is supposed to get in front the guy already positioned in the gap way to his left on a play going...left?
Seeing that he can't re-adjust pre-snap, that would be some incredibly great footwork!
It does appear that it was his assignment (you can see how ticked he was after the play) but good luck making that block without tackling the guy.
Maybe he slightly chips him to slow him down?
fwiw, the TD earlier on the fake-toss sweep did give them reason to think this would work.
You has #31 and #54 coming in hard from the backside. A soon as Elliott stop to cut, they are right there. And #33 coming in from the top right that nobody is looking at. I don't see him making a first down on that play, let alone a big run. There's one guy to beat over there while the other corners are gone in coverage, Tyron had the one guy there that was there to clean up.
