Option QB is part of DAKs background.

It's not cute..it's fumdamental.

We will see him running a lot now with things on the line.

I think DAK is going to want to take things into his own hands now.

If he fails..it will not be becuz he didn't try.

Part of the problems for DAK is the coaches are calling plays not to win..

but to not lose.

That has to change

And if things don't work..

..Romo is here.

Be that as it may, I have no idea why you think having the QB run on a 3rd and 11 is any more of a "win" play than a sweep to Zeke.

You 're right , there were two guys on zeke, one would have been blocked by Leary if he understood assignment but still there was a faster DB type guy coming to finish up, it would have yielded another couple of yards at the most.

A lot of fortune tellers on this one.

Oh, man. So frustrating.

And you know there are fans who were out there livid at the play calling on 3rd and long. As it usually does, it comes down to execution.
Raises hand but don't feel bad about it lol. It looked like poop at the time but hearing what I heard on Monday and seeing the whole play I see why it was done. Me like most people aren't football geniuses so when we see a play get stopped so short when your used to a throwing play in that situation, plus we are losing yeah I was mad at the time won't lie lol.

It was actually the correct check if you watch the video if Leary hears the check.

Yep. Everyone was blocked except for Leary's guy. That would have gone for a long gainer, definitely Zeke would have had the first down. Sigh.

Before I'd even agree that it would have been a huge play, I'd need someone who had seen the all22 to show the entire field. It's tough to judge where all the other defenders are.

We've seen Tyron on a DB before. There's some cleaning up involved, but it's the DB that needs cleaning up afterward.

I'd be shocked if that run wasn't for 20 yards or more. There's a good chance it goes all the way.

It looks like if 65 did his job there would have been options for Zeke...

But the entire O was not great on that particular day...

I disagree. It's a one-score game with plenty of time remaining. 3rd and 11 is a low-percentage conversion in the first place. To me, it makes perfect sense at that stage.
No prob.

Hey..even the assistant coaches probably tend to agree or disagree on calls.

Thanx for your reply.

Later.

It's not going to be 20 degrees in ATT Stadium this ,Sunday.

I think everyone can agree, that wasn't just a sloppy game by Prescott, the entire offense didn't play up to it's standards. That's a mistake a veteran OL can't afford to make in a close game.
Funny we had to wait for several all 22 breakdowns when a number of us saw it live.

Mmm hmmm

No way , he comes from opposite end of Tyron , Tyron is already engaged.

The whole premise of this "what if" is that if Leary fires out on his man then zeke does not slow and drift backwards a half step trying to avoid Leary's man.

#31 for the giants imo has little chance to run down Elliot from behind in that scenario. Zeke has already hit the edge and turned on the jets . Tyron already has his target in site and tfred is rounding the corner looking to clean up the trash.
Easy first down and probably much more.

What exactly is the point of this thread as far as Dak is concerned?

Dak audibles into a run play on a 3rd and long, because the Giants were showing pass as suppose to prove what?
