One more thing that gives me hope -- Jason will be playing for his coaching career in Dallas. He will manage Callahan and keep a balanced attack on the field. If we resort to Romo passing every other down, . . . well, i dont want to think abuot that.

BALANCE

Why do you keep mentioning Callahan when JG can already simply over rule him? All the playcalling is relayed through JG and would think he already has emphasized whatever points of emphasis to Callahan well before game day. I highly doubt it's Callahan throwing 70% of the time all by his lonely.

We lose by 3 touchdowns if Lee is out. By 13 points if Lee plays.

I don't mean to grind your gears but, if Romo throws every other down, isn't that the very definition of a balanced offense? :)

You got me on that. :)
Anybody who take ol' gimme too literally is axing for trouble. ;)

OK, le me refrain: Running 65% and . . . well, gimme went to Junior college, so do your own calculations, Mr. Einstein!;)

Since the plays first come from Cally I would think he, overall, will be the game plan meister, mister.

and that took place when? Wasn't Callahan relaying messages to Wase Wilson who then relayed to Romo? Just in recent weeks has Garrett be relaying the play to Romo. Romo also has the ability to change in and out of a play based on defensive alignment. According to Nate Newton on Cowboys post game he claims Garrett was calling the plays vs the Commanders and mentioned him having the play sheet in hand during the game.

I was referring more to JG's position as HC who is listening/influencing the playcalls based off of the gameplan he developed, with Cally I assume. He is not some bystander in this?

OK, Cally calls them and Jason fune tunes them.
I don't want to split hairs.
But that Packers game seems to me, instructional in what to not do.
Look for Murray to be a workhorse and Witten and Dez to complement -- not overshadow -- the RB.

This could prove to be challenge to the coaching staff and play calling, being patient, stick to the running game.

If this is a challenge for this coaching staff when it is so obvious then that tells you all you need to know about not having the right staff here. A lucky win over a lousy team like the Commanders doesn't change that.
