Suddenly, the Titans are Dez's No. 1 suitor; guess who we play Nov. 5?

I hope he doesn't go there.

Mariota is in the Dak category when it comes to throwing the ball. Dak's probably a little better actually.

Already hedging your bets by indicating Mariota isn't very good?

Because I still cheer for Dez Bryant and all that he did for this franchise.

I can't imagine what he would've done with proper scheming and a WR coach that, you know, actually worked on route running.

It would also be interesting to see what his stats would have been the last 3 seasons if we had not artifially inflated his stats by forcing him the ball.

Never understood so much antipathy to a man you've never met who gave his blood sweat and tears to this team.....all because he isn't a perfect player or professional. People like the OP need to grow up.

The behavior is honestly embarrassing.

When did you meet him? At dinner? If so, was there dancing afterward?

He’s a stud number 1 who will only take that titans offense to the next level and help their young QB by being a sure handed WR who is professional and runs clean routes!!

.... oh wait.
Dude, I'm a Dez fan and that was hilarious!

You forgot his best act..................He will come in late to training camp, will be too stupid to learn the playbook or run all the routes and will get hurt because he is out of shape.

Oh yeah. How about the annual he just needs to work on his route running and then he'll really be unstoppable? Or how about the best Dez excuse of all..."Oh that's just Dez..."

Is it really hedging a bet? There would be a considerable difference if Dez had a better QB. Dez and Mariotta could surprise some people, but playing in Tennessee isn't exactly a WR wonderland. 23rd in passing yards, 30th in passing TDs. Cowboys 18/26. It doesn't seem like an ideal landing spot? Maybe Dez and Dion Lewis could improve that, but it's still the Titans. lol If Dez wants to really produce, I don't think Ten. is the place to do that.

Well since Dez has a plethora of options (as some of you suggest) then he should have a really good situation at his disposal to choose from. In that instance he would be either taking the money over the situation (which would not be in his best interests) or the more likely scenario is that no team of any consequence really wants him.

It would be better for Dez to: 1. play for free to get on a really good team to help him redeem himself or get a ring OR 2. Go to a team with zero good receivers and get them to force him the ball and artificially inflate his stats because he still can't get open.

If he is really avoiding training camp as some have suggested, then he is dumber than even I thought he was before. You can't fix that kind of stupid.

I don't believe Dez currently has very many options available to him. I think he is saving face, waiting on a camp injury. Don't be surprised if he eventually says he just "doesn't have the passion for it anymore" and never plays another down of football.

Okay but teams that already have top-flight passing games are going to have no reason to roll the dice on a declining, head-case receiver.

I guess it is about time for some team to figure they can get him at 1/4 of what he was making so why not take a chance. Even with all his faults, he has to be better than most teams #4-6 WRs so why not take a chance?

He's worth that $7M Ravens contract, but less if he's looking for a 1 year deal.

I agree with Verdict though that it's all about saving face at this point. The whole NFCE thing let him say that he was only taking less because he limited his market. Now he's going to have to just reluctantly suck it up if he wants to play.

Dez had claimed he hired a route running coach before we dumped him on his head. Do you think he is still working with that guy? LOL

I thought the reports were that he never got around to actually to working with the guy. I was never a Dez guy. Great high point guy. The occasional circus catch. Great red zone guy. Lots of holes on and off the field though. Good riddance.

He doesn't HAVE to be better than the dumpster diving players on a team. Dez is one of those dumpster fire players.

You are correct. He didn't actually ever work with the guy and now some are saying he wants to avoid training camp. Lol. Yeah. He doesn't need any practice!!

I don't believe for a minute he has any real quality, viable offers.

A place called Music City Miracles says the Titans are "heavy favorites" to sign Dez. (Bad move)

If this happens, blokes, seeing Dez drop balls and run bad routes at Jerry World would be the poppermost of the toppermost!

Fansided and The Tennessean also weigh in, lads.

Can one imagine Dez learning a new playbook this late?
Marota, however, seems tepid to reluctant to the idea.
Holla!

Oh my god, I'm shakin in me old boots now mister. Dezzie Loo in dixie!! Can you imagine Dezzie in Nashville hangin with Dixie Chicks :lmao:
