1) Eagles lose...0-1...hope for 15 more losses

2) Havent seen the replay enough of the Lions TD play, but the one time I did see it it sure looked like a TD

3) Absolute LOL for the Whiners...what an atrocious effort today...they looked like a lousy coached team in just about all areas, bad play calls, bad clock management, stupid game decisions..Alex Smith, LOL...whats the excuse this year? And its only one game, but I wouldnt be putting Iupati or Davis in Canton anytime soon. Iupati looked like he didnt even know the plays on alot of what I saw...Davis must have got away with 2 or 3 false starts, and was called for 1 or 2 others...another team I love to see suck

4) Wow, really explosive Falcons offense there today. NOT

5) That Foster kid owned the Colts today.

6) I hope it doesnt affect our game, but virtually every game I saw there were numerous examples of just terrible officiating. These clowns get worse every year.

7) Once again Goodell, you moron. We dont need more regular season games. Look at all the people who went out today. And you think these guys can withstand 18 weeks of this? Do something productive like get full time officials.

According to the rule, it was the right call. A dumb one but the correct call.

To anyone that knows football it should be a td. But a couple of years back the refs got the nfl to "tweak" the rule to supposedly make judgment calls easier for them. This crap is the result.

By rule, it was not a TD (you have to maintain control of the ball all the way through the fall). Stupid rule. 2 feet, a knee, a butt, and an elbow all down, yet still not a TD. crazy.

The way I understand it. It was the correct call as far as what the rule says. This just proves that the rule is idiotic.

Couple of my thoughts to add to yours:

1) Carson Palmer?? Man I thought he was Troy Aikman Clone few years ago. He looks shadow of himself.

2) Matt Ryan? Matty Ice? Child Please....

3) Matt Moore? I guess Rueage is over for Cowboys fans?

4) Last but not least, this is just first week, so lot might change. All the guys I noted on, might be praise worthy later.

He threw the ball well most of the game. At least 2 of those were off his WRs hands. His receivers kept tipping the ball and dropping passes. I suspect the Giants will be good all season long.
