Sunday Game Thread-11/2

If Allen wins, he will be 5-1 vs Mahomes … in the regular season

And will still be 0-4 vs Mahomes in the playoffs.
I remember 1 game where Allen played a near-perfect game (something like 4TDs and 400) and still lost.

They had the old overtime rules where winner of coin flip gets the ball and if they score in any manner, its over. Chiefs won the coin flip, kicked a FG, and won the game in OT. All came down to a coin flip....whoever won the flip would win the game as neither team hardly punted all game

Crazy stuff

We’ve had a really good run of excellent Thursday night games this year. Some of the most exiting ones so far.

Unfortunately this week we get Broncos-Raiders.

I guess it will be good to see our next opponent, but after today’s loss, I expect the Raiders to collapse mentally and battle for their placement in the bottom five.

If that game was in KC, does anyone believe there wouldn't have been flags thrown on that last drive to keep their drive alive?
The conspiracy/gambling guys already believe the fix was made in week five when the Chiefs we’re 2-2 and beat the Jags with a really controversial OPI penalty reversal.

And then in the Lions game, the league office in NY phoned in a penalty that wasn’t called on the field and the Chiefs weren’t even looking for. The league later denied that even happened despite an official telling Dan Campbell during the game that it did.

They made several public statements and had the head of officials make a statement. It looked like they got busted doing something they shouldn’t be doing and then tried a coverup

Of course none of this surprises you, or anyone but a Chiefs fan. lol

I don’t believe games are fixed, but I do think the league absolutely loves Mahomes and the Chiefs and Taylor Swift.

Raiders lose, Crosby getting traded? haha no
If he wasn’t the spiritual heart and soul of the team I believe he might. He took a team friendly deal in the midst of a rebuild and has really defended them publicly and come out in support on the owners and Carroll.

The question has been how willing is he to go through another rebuild if they have a sell off this year.

Even in the playoffs
For his career, he has 25 TD passes and just 3 Ints
That's almost unheard of.

Yet not even one SB appearance
He’s like Jim Kelly levels of pain without getting to at least go to the game.

Honestly, I think it must have been worse for Kelly.

I wonder if the people that bet on the Portland Trailblazers last season didn't think something this big could be rigged?

At this point in time, I put nothing past anybody or any entity when it comes to putting the fix on sports or things way more important

Sports gambling is ruining sports, or at least changing it in a very negative way.

Football is a little more insulated because ther than a QB, one player has less ability to impact betting lines than they do in the NBA.

NBA though is ripe for corruption and has been corrupted for ages.

I definitely feel that in the Tim Donaghy era, the refs were taking a bag during the Mavs-Heat series in 06. Donaghy even said it happened and there were a ridiculous number of calls between him and other officials in the series.

Looks like we may also see some stuff coming down soon about the UFC, which should surprise no one since they are run by a bunch of gangsters anyway.
