Romo was the brains behind the machine while he was here. Not the publicity and the marketing and the brand (and who gives a **** how valuable our team is!?), but the on-field product we saw. He ran the show.
With that said, due to having to carry the team on his shoulders (you folks wanna talk about a QB who can carry a team), and nary having, even, a year of a complete team (like Brees 2009, ARod 2010, Brady always), his body finally gave out. We couldn't get him the D to compliment his amazing talent.
He'll never come back. I can't stand the posts advocating his return. It's a pipe dream in an alternate universe. His body is done. His mind isn't, but this is the NFL. He'd get killed his first game back with this decrepit coach(ing staff) and the way we're performing, and no Zeke.
