The Giants DBs are beat up. I would like to see us come out in a 3 WR set with Barber in the backfield and using Witten or Fasano as combination H-back and TE.

Put TO in the slot and Crayton & Glenn out wide. I don't think the Gaints have a prayer of covering TO in the slot.

As much as I like running with a lead FB I would scrap it except for goal line and short yardage situations. It comes down to this, who would I rather have on the field Hoyte or a 3rd WR? No contest. Give me the 3rd WR.

I believe TO in the slot makes Witten even more dangerous if the DBs also have to cover wide and deep.

I am one of the few left who still like Julius Jones, but I would use him so sparingly that he jersey might not need to be washed. Simply put, Barber could punish the Giants LBs given the fact they may have a lot of coverage assignments vs. Witten & Fasano. One extreme to the next. Wear them down and rub them out.

I'm a huge fan of attacking with your best players from the slot position. There may come a day when defenses will totally have to change because of what goes on in the slot position.

I am bettin this game is a blow out from the first quarter on. I think the team is going to leave no room for doubt. We win by 3TD...

I agree, personel wise teams are going to have to try to go 3-4 corners deep because it seems like 2 good-great corners are no longer cutting it.

With 3WRs and 2 TE set and O-Line giving bit of time to Romo, I can't see how their DBs can cover all of them, noway.

I'll be happy if the refs are honest, or at least, seemingly so. For no apparent reason, I suspect (or, rather, fear) the Boys will have to beat the Giants and the refs, too, this Sunday.

Wonder how many of the "Big Boys" or "Wise Guys" have how much money on which teams and which of these folks have "their guy" on the officiating crews this weekend? Just wondering, mind you, not accusing anyone.

Lucky for me I quit betting a long time ago.

I hope it goes that way. We are more than due for a blowout playoff victory.

Nobody has a shot of covering TO in the . He becomes all the more devastating if you hit him quick. All he needs is that inch of separation.

I was actually thinking the opposite re: the ref's. You know the NFL is drooling over a dallas/NE matchup in the SB...not that I really believe in all that conspiracy stuff.

I really haven't had much of a problem with the ref's this year. I've seen a couple head scratchers on instant replays and quite a few pretty clear holding penalties not called, but overall i think theyve done ok.

With T.O. in the slot and Glenn stretching the field, that's going to open it up down the middle for Witten and crossing patterns for Crayton. But, I think the Giants will expect us to come out firing. I say give a heavy dose of MBIII early and often to make them play close to the line.

The Giants D backfield really isn't all that good. When they faced above average QBs this year (Romo, Favre and Brady), they gave up:

Romo: 592 yds, 8 TDs
Favre: 286 yds, 3 TDs
Brady: 356 yds, 2 TDs

Throw in other good performances by QBs (Kitna and Grossman), and they gave up 377 yds, 1 TD, and 296 yds, 1 TD.

My point is they can't stop the league's top QBs. I don't see a light all of the sudden coming on and figuring out how to stop Romo. 8 TDs in two games this year? Please...

Good post. I really don't think the Giants match up well with high powered passing offenses.

Which actually says alot about their 'vaunted' pass rush.
