Can't stand those who blame Garrett first. Did you like Garrett last year? This year circumstances beyond his control derail this season and it's his fault. Man..

I been a Garrett person since day one. Still am. He needs a few changes on making adjustments, not run on every first down so much. Throw down field more. Which is really on Linehan. But Garrett should talk to him about that.

If we're all honest, the moment Tony went down in Week 2, we knew the season was over. People say Jerry and Co. blew it on the backup QB but most teams in the league don't have a decent starter, much less a decent backup.

Who's at the top spot? If he's waiting years to talk to Linehan he's not doing his job.

Yeah its basically the earliest the season has been over since 2010, Im basically just looking forward to watching our rookies from now on.

I hate to say this, but I've given up on winning. And it's not because I've given up on the Cowboys.
But the key to winning in this league - aside from having the right coach, which isn't going to be the case with us for a while it seems - is to acquire better talent. And, the better talent is coming at the top of the draft.

For all saying we shouldn't be rooting for losses, we are fans. We're not players. I can understand players not wanting to lose. And if the Cowboys win, I understand why the players continue to play to win.

But as a fan, I can throw in the towel because I realize that the worse our record, the better talent we're able to acquire. And better talent means better team.

So here's to being the Biggest Losers!

Those were my exact words. Not because we are void of talent though. We are void of creative coaching.

I have the games on mute because I am not interested in the NFCe anymore. That game is played and done with for the Cowboys.

From here on out, I want to see if the Cowboys can spoil some team from the playoffs. Either the Giants or Washington. The eagles...what can I say? lol

It will still be fun either laughing or crying...so, chill out and enjoy!

But teams hoping to reach the playoffs should.

This is only Linehans 2nd year, so not like he is waiting "years".
Last year it didn't seem as a big of a problem. This year it was too obvious. They did not adjust. That needs to change.

For years I mean we have been predictable no matter who the OC is/was. Nothing changes. I doubt any thing changes next year and Linehan could very well get the ax for the appearance of change.

Linehan calls the plays that come from Garrett. This is his offensive system. So what is he going to talk to him about? Calling plays better? Executing his playcalling the right way, like he preaches to the players?

And even if that were not true, it would make little difference since both he and Linehan believe in the exact same offensive concepts. The problem is not throwing down the field more. It is more about creating an offensive gameplan that takes advantage of the opposition better and relies less on simply winning the individual matchups.

This is true, never thought of it that way. This is the type of stuff they need to talk about.
But I get your point, with their philosophies, would they actually see that that is a real problem..

Would they actually change. Garrett changed by the Callahan experiment [a wasted year on that], then he changed by bringing in Linehan, and everyone thought pass happy, but he actually ran the ball, but too many first down runs still. But it was a change and worked for last year
Then the same old thing this year, but with injuries, and failed RB experiment, it failed. So next year, will they make another adjustment. Nothing shows us that they willing to make those adjustments at this time.

Never been more sports depressed in my life. I'm getting beat left and right by my Longhorns and Cowboys. It sucks we have to sit thru another 2 more months of the regular season, the playoffs, super bowl, etc.....wow this is a new low for this franchise.

What sucks the most is more than likely we'll see the cheaters getting another lombardi.

I think things could get even lower for next season. I have confidence in Jerry, screwing up this team more than he already has. Get er done, Jerry.
