It was wades last year was this disinterested, there were a couple cowboy games I didn't even watch when I could have.
Got Saints, Texans here, I d prolly be more entertained going to Buffalo Wild Wings and watch the bandwagon saints fans, and horrible Texan fans talk crap to each other

At this point I try to latch on to a secondary team to root for like the Vikings since they have DC coaching roots or a dark horse team who has yet to win a SB like the AZ. Just to early in the season for this crap.

A little cheer for everyone, Tampa can be 6-5 by the end of today. TAMPA!!!!!!! :(

I haven't felt this empty on a NFL Sunday in YEARS. Usually I'm pumped to watch all the games and have on multiple screens, Red Zone etc even when the Cowboys aren't playing.
This is the deepest cut of all - to not care about NFL football on November 29th.

Wow.....I just said a similar thing about 45 minutes ago.

It's been a weird year to say the least.. Normally I watch a lot of football but lately my lady is the one tuning the tv to Thursday, Sunday, and Monday night football.. It's like I forget there's football being played...

Very weird season, I too have not rushed home to watch MNF because no team impresses me besides the Pats. There's just too much sloppy play and poor officiating going on to keep me interested.

I guess this is why so many "fans" play fantasy football these days. I won't do it but I guess it gives people an interest beyond the fate of their favorite team.

I haven't felt this empty on a NFL Sunday in YEARS. Usually I'm pumped to watch all the games and have on multiple screens, Red Zone etc even when the Cowboys aren't playing.

But today we are out of it with 6 weeks left and none of these games fit into a larger picture of how it affects OUR team. Yes I know we are mathematically still alive, but my heart and my eyes aren't buying it so these games mean nothing. Watching other teams play and win and celebrate just makes me depressed and angry. Every football play is just a stark reminder of how utterly disastrous this season has been for us.

Usually there is comfort in the feeling that hey we are at least not Browns or Jaguars fans. But even they aren't feeling our level of complete disappointment this year, as their sights were not set as realistically high and the depths to which they have plummeted nowhere near as low.

I never dreamed with 5 games left we would be in this position. Of all the fits and starts of the schizophrenic Garrett era we at least had meaningful games in December.

This is the deepest cut of all - to not care about NFL football on November 29th.

I flew down to Dallas for the opener. I remember chanting "Let's go Cowboys!" on the escalators with hundreds of other fans and high fiving every person in sight and yelling "How bout dem Cowboys!" It was probably the most pumped up I've ever been after a football game.

To go from that feeling to this one in just a few months time? Yeah, that sucks.

No doubt this season has been just brutal and it's not even close to being over yet.

Usually when the playoffs start, I'll have teams that I want to lose so I'll atleast have some teams to pull for to lose because my Cowboys are most of the time not in the playoffs.

I cut my teeth on the Cowboys in the early 90's. I remember going 1-15 vaguely in 89' but remember pretty vividly the only game we won that year against the Commanders and how happy I was. Then of course the 90's and the Championships.

I think this year I'm more pissed off than anything. The injuries derailed our season, no doubt about it. I think the biggest thing has been seeing how inept Jason Garrett and the coaching staff have been in handling the team with the injuries. I know our circumstances would be hard for any coach to handle, but I have seen other teams whether major injuries far better than we have and it's depressing.

Ultimately I think Tony Romo has a couple of years left. Of course I also believe we need to start planning for life without him. If we can come out next year, avoid the massive injury apocolypse and attain some talent through a high draft pick and free agency we can be right back in it and contend. I guess that's all we have to hope for at this point.

I'm on the Cards bandwagon for the rest of the year.

Well put. Feel the same. I find myself searching now for games where I can just watch quality football and enjoy the game. I am definitely lacking drive to watch any games or do any fantasy football monitoring today. Didn't think I'd be following hockey or basketball this early this year. And you know what...it really sucks.

Well, I woke up Sunday morning
With no way to hold my head that didn't hurt.
And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad,
So I had one more for dessert.
Then I fumbled in my closet through my clothes
And found my cleanest dirty shirt.
Then I washed my face and combed my hair
And stumbled down the stairs to meet the day.

Pretty much sums up the season.

There was a lot of this football irrelevance in the aughts...even worse...aside from the Parcells years. And with Old Whiskey running the show this could the new norm.

If Romo comes back and plays like he did last season--and can stay healthy--my pessimism will be unfounded. He won't.

I'm watching SF. CL. and the like. Hoping they win games pushing us up the draft board. At least it's something.

Un-freaking-believable...well, on here, it is believable...

Romo plays 3 games total, 2 full, and 2 halves...breaks clavicle twice. Dez out 8 weeks with a broken foot. Missing 2 players for 1st 4 games, plus Scandrick for the year.
A lot of other nagging injuries, concussions, other players out, like t. McClain on IR.

So O & D needs to be scrambled, effects play calling. It's a snow ball effects. And most teams would be the same.

so now we have the worst coaches and back to 1-15, 5-11 teams....it's one year of injury derailed season....
yes we need some changes, some better players....but this is a team one play away [that we were cheated on] from playing a winnable NFCC game last year.

going to be a long off season of posts, that already started.
I have my complaints and concerns, quite a few of them, eve expressed some of them, but will try to be constructive with them from here on out.
Can't stand those who blame Garrett first. Did you like Garrett last year? This year circumstances beyond his control derail this season and it's his fault. Man..

How I feel today, the tv is on but i'm not really watching. I usually have Sunday ticket going on the tv and redzone on my iPad. Have not watched RedZone all day. TV has been on games but i'm not really paying attention. Washington/Giants game made me sick. To think this divsion is that bad and we gifted the whole thing.
