Sunday Night football

Oh, yeah, they really did well with Tony Dungy. There's no question about that. But for all the class and analysis that Dungy brings to the set, Rodney Harrison cancels out with his presence. I can live with the Bus -- anyone but Roidney Harrison.
Dungy certainly brings class and credibility, but he is downright boring.

Baseball sucks and is way too slow and they have to cover their *** to prove it isn't.

The best way to watch baseball is when you watch the highlights. That's it. How people watch complete games, I don't know.

What's interesting is I probably will watch the Yankees and the Phillies tomorrow night, but I'm not going to tune in until the 7th inning or something. Even then, if it's not that close, I probably won't watch it.

I stopped following baseball with any kind of seriousness back in 1992. When in the hell is baseball going to smarten up and shorten their season?

Opening day should be May 1st, not April 1st, when half the league plays in the snow and rain the first month. Just ridiculous. Do we really need baseball with hockey and basketball playoffs just starting then in April?

Baseball should be done by August 31st and the playoffs start Labor Day weekend. What better time to kick it off when everyone is having their end of summer outing. More people would probably watch too. World Series done by the end of Sept. at the lastest. Why am I watching the best two teams play in inclement weather in Oct/Nov.???? Am I really getting to see the best of their talents when they have to play in 40 degree weather?

Reduce the number of teams to half of what you have now. You pretty much know by mid July who is playing in the playoffs. The Royals Pirates Nationals of the league need to cease and desist or got to triple A ball.

WAKE THE HELL UP BASEBALL AND DIE SO I CAN WATCH FOOTBALL AND YOUR CRAPPY LEAGUE IS OUT OF THE WAY.

I'm not bitter am I?;)

I agree. I played baseball in hs but it is difficult to wathch. They needd to re-tune the game to keep up w/modern times. I'm in a graduate management class that stresses the evability to adjust and these guy are just stubbornly against changin the game to fit the "environmental factors", which is us, the fan base. They need to get over it and adjust. If not they are destined to fail in the long run. The grwoing latino pop def has a say in this and they can't watch this dribble...change the game a ltttle bit.

Watching baseball is so damn boring =(

What am I to do tomorrow night now? LAME.

Eagles vs Giants is the only Philly vs New York that matters =(

same time as we do

Oh wow. I could've sworn I saw a commercial for Sunday Night Football with Eagles and Giants. Or maybe it was the Eagles and Cowboys. Maybe that explains why they were promoting that game so early.

i love baseball, sorry you other guys dont. your loss.

Watch baseball or sleep. Either way, I'd be sleeping. No loss for me. LOL!

The NFL and MLB have a deal IIRC. It helps the World Series from having a crappy Sunday night rating.
That deal should only apply to World Series games in October.-IMHO
Sunday will be Nov.1...does anyone realize that all 5 professional sports are playing at this time. It's ridiculous.
NFL
NBA
MLB
NHL
MLS???If anyone really counts that as a professional sport in the US.

Agreed in totality. If they suspended the World Series for the next 10 years, I'd probably have to try to be anything but ambivalent.

I thought you had a point until you got to hockey. I quit reading when you said something about hockey. Maybe only soccer and NASCAR are the bigger turn offs than hockey.

I am 100% football but I like Baseball, I think basketball sucks and It's just politically incorrect to say so.....at least baseball had the distinction of being the #1 game for a century (give or take a few years) basketball will never sniff that spot in the US. BASKETBALL SUCKS!
