Please move if not the right place. But I haven't bought the package in years now but I am considering this year. I noticed that the Texans play 5 games at the same time the Boys do this year and in Houston, that means those 5 games will not be shown locally. So my question is, are those games still blacked out on Sunday Ticket in the Houston Market or will they be aired on the package regardless of the Texans game on or not?

I'm not sure, but I think the Sunday Ticket shows all games regardless if it's blacked out on regular TV...that is why you pay for it.

They will not be blacked out by Sunday Ticket and the Cowboys game will be available.

With The Sunday Ticket Package, the only instance where any individual game would be unavailable to you would be if a Houston Texans home game doesn't sell out.

Blackout games are still available on Sunday Ticket. They are always on the HD Mix Channel where they show 8 games at once.

If the game is black out on Sunday Ticket then it is on locally.

Anyone call and get it for free yet?

Now quite free but I got it for $40. Bought Madden special edition and get online access for free.

Paid $100 for it but probably won't even play the game, just sell it or trade it in.

I bought the package last year and regretted it. There's far too many games that are nationally broadcasted and NFL Rewind is a much better deal.

Bought the Anniversary Edition as well. Don't want to go through another year of having to watch crappy online streams. What I'm going to do is Airplay my MacBook's screen to my ATV.

I've never been able to get it for free. I was on the phone with them recently and they told me as long as I call back before the season starts they can lower the cost to somewhere under $200 for the standard (around $10 bucks off the monthly payment plan).

Getting the ticket for free? Dang... How does that work.? Just by calling and extending your contract?

We've had the ticket for about 5 years. What would we say to even get a discount?

That you're going to cancel your entire account seems to work pretty well.

I called them last night and tried that.. no go. I really want to get the red zone channel but it is only offered with the Max subscription which I find to be frustrating. Not sure what i am going to do just yet.

I just called, said I think I need to switch to Comcast as the Sunday ticket is too much and they gave NFLST to me for free and also they thru in free Showtime for 3 months as well.

What number did you call. I called the one on the website for customer service and tried that.. and the guy was more than willing to let me cancel my account and go back to comcast.
