I think I'm going. A friend of mine (whom i generally respect his opinion on movies) siad he thought it was the funniest movie he'd seen years...maybe ever. I won't go there, but I'm looking forward to it nontheless.

I am definitely going to see this. It looks great. The unedited trailer is pretty hillarious.

Bow to the altar of Apatow. 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, followed up with Superbad. All of them gold. The Apatow/Rogen connection have a bunch more on the way. Starting with Drillbit Taylor, Pineapple Express, Walk Hard, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. These men are comedic gold.

I kind of have to. 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up are defiantly two of the funniest movies ever, IMO.

I'll be going in the morning. Hope it's as good as Hot Rod.

I saw it. One of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Finally a movie that picks up where John Hughes left off. This is the next great teen defining comedy. Utter greatness.

Some are more easily amused than others I'd reckon.

 I don't see what his stuff has to do with John Hughes - they seem completely different. John Hughes had coming of age, but heart warming com/dram. There is nothing heart warming about SuperBad.

And I don't like much John Hughes. Uncle Buck and Ferris are funny.

That being said - the string of great comedy movies that have been coming out is very refreshing. Maybe that's what you meant by Hughes.

You are the wrong age -- 16 candles, Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink came out when I was in Middleschool and High School. Those really connected on several levels for me.

Let's not forget the excellent Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared TV series

That's what I always hear. Breakfast Club, for the life of me, I just don't get it. But I wasn't a teenager in the middle west during the eighties.

I think Seth Rogen is the funniest guy in Hollywood now. His next movie, Pineapple Express, sounds hilarious.

Dale (Seth Rogen) is a process server who buys marijuana from a drug dealer named Saul (James Franco) because Saul sells him a new type of pot known as "Pineapple Express." Saul wants to be close friends with Dale, but Dale is only interested in purchasing weed from him. After Dale accidentally witnesses a murder committed by a corrupt police officer (Rosie Perez) and a gang leader (Gary Cole), Dale and Saul go on the run from the gangsters.
Rogen and Goldberg wrote that too.
