Neither one of this years SB participants would stand a chance against this team. They were the perfect storm and it came down on the Bills heads.

Damn it, I thought it was starting at 8:00 and fell asleep and missed the first hour. Does anyone know if its coming on again tonight?

What an awesome game - I'll never get tired of it. I seriously count it as one of the happiest days of my life - back in college, no worries, big party at my apartment, keg of beer......just awesome. This is potentially damning, but I remember walking back to my room after the game and welling up with tears of joy.

And Charles Haley was one bad SOB.

the whole team was...and they had what our current Cowboy team definitely lacks- a killer instinct

well that, and the fact that they were just better

Man, I wished we scored on that first possession of the 3rd. Would have been 55-17 instead of 52-17.:laugh2: And if Leon Lett didn't fumble the ball, it would be 62-17. Man, I think this team as well as the 93 team would beatdown every team that has won the superbowl since.

I agree we lack some of that, but like you say, talent is key. If killer instinct was enough Jake LaMotta would have beat Sugar Ray Robinson more that 1 time in 6 fights.

the nfc championship 2 weeks prior to this game when we put it to those damn 49ers in their castle was the happiest i've been since don't know when.

i've probably never screamed so loud in my life than when harper caught that slant to seal the deal.

this game was the icing on the cake.....i knew we would win.....but noone expected it to be 52-17.

damn...we were good.

I'm with you, I had so much pent up sports hate for the NIners from "the catch"........that game was an incredible release of joy for the pay back...at their house no less!!

Did anyone go to the pep rally before the Niner game (or was it the Super Bowl)...man that place was packed and rockin, if we had those types of fans every week we'd have a hellova home field advantage.

Did anyone go down Greenville Avenue after the Super Bowl game? I'll never forget that...I've never seen so much spnataneous, drunken joy in my life, people were going nuts and the girls were plentiful and honry!

I see Thomas Everett at the gym every week and its funny when I talk to him about the super bowl and championship game, he doesn't seem nearly as excited as any of us and he played in the dang game!!

Lest we forget, it was and is a "business" for most these guys. It's about the money.

" This Dallas team is going to play at this level for alot of years" or something like that.

And the salary cap, free agency and Jimmy and Jerry put a premature end to a dynasty that could have won five championships in that decade alone.
