Beebe scored 2 post season TDs that shouldn't have counted, ironically, both in the 3rd quarter.

1st, against Houston, he caught a pass during the comeback, but stepped out on his way to the endzone. The refs missed it and since there was no replay.....it counted.

Then against us, Reich was beyond the line of scrimmage on that last play of the 3rd quarter. The refs missed it, and the Beebe TD counted.

Sadly for him......two of the biggest TDs of his career and they shouldn't have counted.....

I was flipping through, and NFLN had "To be announced". So I went to another channel for a few minutes, flipped back to NFLN and went "*&*#$!". I could have watched the whole thing.

Man, that was fun watching the game replay. The announcers said something like "Even the diehard Cowboys fans have to feel a little bad for the Bills. Three time, three losses." I didn't feel sorry for them. :D

It was an incredible game.

When I was a little child in the 70s, I had some Cowboys stationary. During the games, I would make my own box score by writing down the scoring plays, yardage and some game notes. But soon enough, the stationary ran out in the 1980 season. I had only one left so I figured I would save it for the Super Bowl.

Well, you know how the early 80s went. Close calls but no Super Bowl. Then came the late 80s disaster. So when Dallas finally made it to Super Bowl 27, I (a grown man by then) pulled out the last piece of stationary and made a box score. I almost ran out of room with all the Dallas touchdowns! After the game, I put the box score with the others and there it is today.

I didn't either.

They had a good team, just not a super term.

I'm being greedy, but it is really sick we couldn't sustain it for longer. Jerry really pissed me off during that era, got cocky and let his ego run the team and ran off Johnson (although Johnson was a real jerk to Jerry and I understand why he got pisssed), had a heavy hand in bringing the salary cap (talk about shooting yourself in the foot) and dragged *** on signing Emmitt in 93. All those shanigans really took something away from being a fan and I'm sad to say, I just didn't care as much as I used to because of it.

When he hired Parcells, I was back on board. I just hope Jerry has learned his lessons and respects the people he's hired to make good decisions about personel and not undermine their authority,

As much as we want to fault Jerry Jones, the break up wasn't his fault. Jimmy Johnson orchestrated his departure from Dallas. He often said he wouldn't stay some place for long, and he wanted to leave Dallas for Miami so he could be closer to the waters.

Jimmy would take subtle and public shots at Jerry Jones, and as an owner/boss/parent/leader you can't take that type of insubordination.

If anyone, I blame Jimmy Johnson. But I understand that the same attitude that helped him craft one of the greatest teams in NFL history likely led to his early departure. At least we have three Super Bowls to thank him for - the last Super Bowl win a product of the talent he helped build.

Watching games like that just makes it even more laughable when someone says someone like the Patriots is the best team ever.

Im sorry but those 90's Cowboys would roll them off the field.

I discovered yesterday that if the DirecTV guide says "To Be Announced" you can't Tivo the program ahead of time. So I had to rush home from work and wait until 8 p.m. CST to tape it. :(

Especially with the Pats defense. We would have steamrolled that team we were so deadly on the offensive line, at wide receiver, at tight end and in the running game. And special teams.

And Jimmy Johnson was just as ruthless as Belichick. I don't think any team from any era would have beat those Cowboys that day. Nine turnovers says it all. And the Bills were no slouches.

Thats the thing.. People forget just how dominant we were defensively.

The depth on that defense was absolutely insane.

When we'd lose someone another would step in and be a future pro bowler.

#1 ranked defense in the league as well.

that crowd seemed very Pro-Cowboys now didn't it. I wish our home games could get as loud as the crowd was for us during that SB. Everything we did, the crowd exploded....it was awesome.

BTW, at the time I didn't feel sorry for the Bills.....mainly cause they let the Giants and Skins beat em. However, as time has gone by, I have grown empathetic to Marv Levy and Jim Kelly. It would have been nice for both of them to win one....but they blew it against the Giants and Skins.....so oh well.

Food for thought...........had the refs called Beebe out of bounds on that TD against Houston (He stepped out about 20-25 yds from the end zone) who knows how the momentum would have swung in that game....and perhaps we would have ended up with an all Texas SB that year.

Remember, the Cowboys used to conduct training camp out at Thousand Cliffs, California. So they built a following out west. Besides, even though the LA Raiders were the "home team," they never really caught on.

Then again, this is America's Team so of course the crowd would be Pro-Cowboys. :)
