But they got there and within an eyelash of winning it

True. That’s their window. But I don’t see how they can be any more dominant on both sides of the field than they were this season. I don’t see them winning a Super Bowl with Purdy. But if they do, it’ll need to be in the next 2 years.

I don't think even Andy Reid knew Mahomes would be this good but he is the one who saw something in him to move a lot of draft capitol to move up and draft him when no one else seemed interested. He deserves credit for that.

Purdy is a very good QB, but like most QBs, he needs open receivers and blockers. He deserves praise, but Mahomes is so far above everyone else. He did not come to the NFL a star. He sat his rookie year, and Andy Reid has created an offense that is perfect for him. What he did with crap receivers cannot be compared to Purdy who was not effective tonight under pressure but was pinpoint with open receivers.

Dumb down the offense? Lol, he led the league in tds and was a mvp finalist.

Dak can put up the numbers. That doesn't mean crap. Aikman had very mediocre stats, but he has three rings. In the end, it's how you play in the playoffs. Dak isn't the type that can put the team on his shoulders. He needs a very strong supporting cast. The problem is that he's paid like an elite quarterback which leaves no money for the number of players he needs to surround himself with.

KC is gonna get better because they’re gonna add some receivers. SF is gonna get worse because they’re gonna pay Purdy and eventually realize why he was a 7th rounder once they can’t afford all their weapons.

They’re not paying Purdy until 2026 and then only if he earns it. He gives them two more seasons like the two he just did, he’ll have earned it.
