This is a great SB with two great teams. The focus has been more on weather, Lynch not talking, Omaha, and the whole Sherman thing, more than the game. All entertainment!!!

Actually Metlife's surrounding area looks much worse. Maybe it's just the snow, but it looks god-awful.

It's in the Medowlands. Low lying tidal area where Hackensack river meets the incoming tide.
Not much to the south of the stadium - just the highway and on or two hotels.
To the East it's the many named discount store zone they are building or are trying to build.
To the North is more industrial park.
To the West is route 17 and homes on the hills.

The security will be huge I know the whole post 9/11 safety measures have been introduced but I cant help but feel it will take away some spirit due to all the things they are banning.

America really hasn't got the hang of this whole terrorism malarkey the Boston bombings after that America is on standstill for 2 weeks millions is spent on security. In England in 1984 our then prime minister narrowly escaped with her life after attending a conference at the grand hotel in Brighton, 5 others (including 2 members of her party) were killed, the next morning she was delivering a conference at 09:30.

What was really embarrassing for the league was the way the game was run when it was in Dallas.

You can add the Jets to that. What about when it's in New Orleans and the Saints aren't in it? There seems to be a different set of rules when it comes to AT&T Stadium/Jerry.

Cause giants and saints got 3 total in last bunch of years.

And for the jets... I got nothing lol.

Actually i got a little something... Jets went to. 2 AFC title games lol

You know it has nothing to do with them winning recently, it was never mentioned re Saints before, Giants this year, but was a big deal re us.

Were they ever quoted as wanting to be the first team to play in their home team? Because Dallas was. And at that moment, Dallas was a "contender too." Don't think the Jets/Giants were seen as contenders nor do I think they were interviewed as wanting to play in their new fancy stadium.

That said, the rules for the Cowboys are different. Always have been.

Because their owners didn't talk about that "exciting opportunity" to the media 24/7 like ours did.
