Twitter: Super Bowl Teams Who Continually Draft OL In The 1st Round

You had to run because you didn't have time to throw the ball. The cowboys ranked at the top of the league in passing attempts but near the bottom in yards per completion average. We used a short passing game to supplement our running game (which also ranked near the bottom in rushing attempts). We were constrained offensively because the O-line (for most of the season) was ineffective in Run blocking and pass protection.
We had Rush and Dak playing QB.

That’s why we were constrained offensively.

What people really meant was should fix the front 7 on defense.
I just think we have too many holes to plug. IMO, this team needed to trade Dak before he signed the big contract and use the draft and financial capital to invest in upgrading a few areas. Without a Mahomes or Josh Allen on the roster, you have to be really good everywhere to win a championship, I would have preferred drafting a new QB last year.

As an example, Oakland was rumored to be interested in prescott, if you got their Number 1 pick, you could have moved up one or two spots and taken Nix around the 10-12 range in the draft. Add Nix with 4-5 more picks and some quality FA's then I think you could have had a better all round team that had more upside. If you got the QB wrong, you try again a year or two later if needed.

Lol Im not gonna do your job for you. I gave you a chance to show us your football knowledge or research and you folded... lol I hope you don't fold like that in person.

No one mentioned Dak "bro."
So you just say things and want everyone else to look it up for you?

Weak sauce, Dak fan.

I said Rico rushed for 1,000 yards last year.

That’s a fact.

You asked a bunch of questions after expecting me to research them for you.

Your questions aren’t my problem.
I simply asked you the same questions you ask of others, which you expect them to answer.

Yet when it comes to your claims... "Your questions aren't my problems."

Lol. Like I said before, the burden of proof falls on you. Just like you expect from others.

I don’t think you know what “burden of proof” means.

You think you can just ask anybody anything and they’re supposed to research and answer the question for you?

Do you think by simply asking a question you therefore have cursed the person asked with providing you “burden of proof”?

Here’s where burden of proof would lie with me:

If I said “Rico rushed for 1,000 yards without any garbage time help” then you could then request burden of proof for that claim and I would need to prove my statement as fact and not opinion.

I never said that though. I just said “Rico rushed for over 1,000 yards last year” which is unequivocally true.

Do you understand “burden of proof” now?

One thing is clear, the Cowboys and the rest of the league didn't think much of Dowdle because he only got a one year deal with the Panthers

Lol come on man... you do this exact thing to others, then call people Dak whatever's when they don't answer your questions. That's your rep around here.

I guess Im naive to think you would follow your own rules...
I guess I’m naive to think you most everyone knew what “burden of proof” meant.

AND a 1st round QB.

As the investment was done after the Cowboys got Walker from the USFL, Jimmy Johnson inherited Tuieni, Newton, and Gogan. Also remember they drafted Steve Wisniewski, then made the trade with the Raiders.

The 90's was built like the 70's that lasted to the early 80's. Cowboys drafted defense (DL, LB, DB), and traded for DL (see Casillas, and Haley). Even Landry had a holdover gift in Chad Hennings. So it is big mis-representation that the Cowboys use a lot of premium draft capital on offense. Only Jerry Dumbo GM Jones has drafted offense a lot and traded for WRs.
