I never meant to imply the power stone was magical in any way. However, Superman HAS been beaten by brute strength. Brute strength is what killed him. Now imagine pretty close to infinite strength. It would be a tossup if you ask me. If Hulk laid a punch on Supes, it would be over. The question is, would Supes allow Hulk to hit him. Superspeed and all.
With the kind of power you're talking about, Hulk could clap his hands, creating a shockwave powerful enough to incapacitate Superman long enough to grab on to him.

One thing that always interested me about the Hulk was his strength level only increased when fighting and getting madder instead of decreasing or tiring him out.

It would seem that it was somewhat limitless as the angrier he got the stronger he got.

Brute strength vs brute strength would not be the way to take him out. I don't think the speed issue would either except in one possible way.

Someone kind of touched on it with a cartoon panel earlier in the thread.

If you took away his oxygen it would probably force him to pass out. Although I guess with the hulks strength if he had a chance to gather a deep breath to hold it, who knows how long it would take.

Superman tends to lead with his chin and never gets serious until getting punched once or twice. The Hulk never goes pull power until later in a fight either. Being punched and surviving but realizing that being hit by that big green thing is a recipe for death, so he might be prepared for a shockwave. He might not. Now I want to see this battle play out....as we see Batman in the background on a lounge chair eating popcorn saying "I could take them both at the same time.....cause I'm BATMAN"
