I'm not a very superstitious person but my manager is and it has benefited me this season.

I deliver pizzas in the Dallas area, however I was somehow able to get my manager to let me have Sundays off after about 6 months of repeated reminders about how I want to be able to watch the games. Well the first Commanders game was a Monday night and I had to work. Going into that game we were on a winning streak and were supposed to handle the skins. I joked with my manager that if we lost, it was because I had to work. Not only did we lose but Romo got hurt. He hasn't let me work during a Cowboys game since.

As many would suspect, the Super Bowl is the biggest day of the year for pizza delivery. As such, everybody is required to work. My manager surprised me last week with the information that if the Cowboys make the Super Bowl, I will not be allowed to work that day.

I am very superstitious. We've won every game that I've seen with my friend. At the beginning of the season he wasn't superstitious but by now, well let's just say he's not working this Sunday again lol

Also during the lions game I felt my cowboys cap was giving me bad luck along with a new watch that I'd never worn before. I removed the watch and switched my cap for a cowboys beanie at halftime. The rest is history. Needless to say, I'm starting off the packers game without a watch and my cowboys beanie.

The only thing I've done this year is wear a lucky shirt. I had an entire ritual in the 90s (and I'm diagnosed with OCD ).

You know what they say on that commercial: it's only crazy if it doesn't work!! :)

Hope you didn't jinx us by telling us this.....that would be aweful.
So I'll counteract it with what I been doing, and not been doing.

Ever since the T-Day game...
I bought a new Cowboys coffee mug, actually been wanting to get it for over a year, but never did. As I always think, dang, I have a million mugs already.....
But I finally bought it that weekend. Just a simple plain black mug with the Star on it.
I haven't used any other mug since then.

I also have not posted in the "predict the score" threads. Read through them, but have not posted.
May have th Bears game, but don't think I did.

I was going to post this in the thread for Detroit, but thought I would jinx it. However, I had to post it to counteract this one.....

thanx, I needed the counteraction, but I couldn't help myself, I had to tell someone!!! the Eagle fans at work think I am nuts and then I say "maybe you should have tried some after thanksgiving" :D

Um, okay, so I finally have some time to take down my Christmas decorations... lol... I usually leave them up through the first week of January...but will it be bad luck if I take them down? We have been lights out since I put them up!!! Thoughts? I feel crazy! But then feng sui says an uncluttered space is better luck.... I'm insane right now, seriously.

Ive had my blue Romo jersey on for games since the week after Thanksgiving. At the game last week we switched chairs at halftime and I turned my hat around Tony Romo style for the remainder of the game...it's only crazy if it doesn't work....
